Secondary share offering after Tuesday

Can anyone clarify a few points for me...

First off, I'm not investing £500 as I plain can't afford it this month, to be honest I reckon it'll take until the summer until I could afford the spare £500. Secondly, I don't want to invest through the RST for varying reasons (even though the £125 is more feasible for me ATM), I'd rather invest this type of sum on my own when the shares open up next Tuesday/Wednesday and my old man wants to do the same.

When the shares open up to the public can I buy £100 worth through a broker?

Will rangers get this £100? Or if not then who does?

Will my shares give me access to AGM's etc?

Will my shares give me a vote at an AGM?

I heard that if I buy after Tuesday then I won't be buying from rangers but from institutional investors or buying from a current shareholder kinda thing, I don't understand this as I read that the institutional investors shares are locked in for 12 months iirc, Ie they can't sell them until dec 2013.

Can anyone enlighten me as to what's what with secondary shares? Ta

I read that Rangers can do another share offer after 12 months of this one. But fans can sell their shares, they don't have to hold on to them for 12 months, but i doubt many fans will sell theirs.

Will rangers get this £100? Or if not then who does? - no, the 100 was already paid by the 1st person to buy the shares, you are buying them off that guy.

Will my shares give me access to AGM's etc? - , yes

Will my shares give me a vote at an AGM?- yes

Cheers mate (tu)

I want my vote but £500 is too steep in December.

On a related note, CG said that if we didn't buy up the shares then he'd buy what's left over on #scotnight. Slightly pessimistic of me here but I's there a chance he's had the share issue deliberately in December knowing fine well the vast majority of the support can't afford it at Xmas, which leaves him more shares to Hoover up and make extra profit when he can sell up and move on?

Pessimistic, yes. Realistic, maybe?

Maybe? But he did say back in May he would be doing this at the end of the year. So if people were serious about buying shares they could have started putting money by for that.

Their will still be plenty of Rangers fans out their that will buy the shares though. (tu)

Charles Green has said he will buy up any shares that are left over.

I think that if this share offer is under subscibed, CG will give another offer next year.

Maybe all you guys who can't afford the £500 at present, email Rangers stating you want to buy at a lower amount.

That way CG and Rangers will know and maybe it will help you.

He could do it again in 12 months if he wants. But he said this share issue was over subscribed.

(tu) Alot of people would have just subscribed to get the information in the prospectus.

Exactly, some of us are in a better position to afford to buy now, so I hope CG will give thought to the fans who can't afford

as much as £500 and reduce it accordingly in a future offer so that they can.

definitely the wrong time of the year to be asking for half a K. Although i do think there will be quite a few people out in the coming weeks trying to make a few extra pounds by selling the shares they have just bought.

As for the over subscription, i signalled my intention but after a read of the prospectus i have since changed my mind and i recon there will be a fair amount more that have done the same thing. Im all for investing in the club with no intention of selling the shares i may have bought but there were a couple of things that stood out that made me feel a bit uncomfortable as to who and what would benefit.
