TeddybearTam 9
I've been thinking for a while how we can open up new revenue streams for The Rangers...The best I can come up with is 'train with the team for a day' it might work, we all know how much we love the team, spend as much as we can through the season...What if Rangers had a monthly raffle to have one lucky winner to actually be part of the training for the day?Never mind doing it, taking your favourite top to be signed, meeting the players, never mind joining in!!!!Twelve people max a season, no real monetary effort from the Club and the maximum exposure Thoughts? You'd have charge a shit load to make it worth while. It's been mentioned and ridiculed as per It would be a low expenditure for a month, use RTV, employees at games etc...Great way for the Club to make extra revenue. Ricky_ 893
Sounds good, could we also have a tuck-shop & used book sale on the same day? I'll bring my pasting table & some plastic cups.

pcbear 10,932
As Swally suggested, buy a square foot of the playing surface for 50 quid which would raise near £4m.

LiverpoolBlue 1,414
Everton used to have on the Friday before a home game, a lunch with the players. After the training, they'd join the 30-40 who'd paid for the dinner. Then after the meal, we'd be able to chat to the players and get any photographs we wanted ... I went once, and the photo of me and big Duncan Ferguson still has pride of place.

How about taking the carpark/s - and covering this entire area in a tasteful fashion. Then having PAYING Bears / customers and call it Ibrox Hands. trublusince1982 768
fans day at ibrox including..could use the car parks and surrounding ground we own.meet and greet the players with sponsers having stalls and merchadising stalls etc, could have win a season ticket stalls (raffle or like).pretty sure we could find a cheap gers fan for music and entertainment.tours led by players. (set up a temp museum with all 54 titles) players from past holding trophies they wonplayers QA. Have small meetings with tickets sold, and also use the stadium for large QA with questions placed from fans in a drop boxex players QAmeet the coaches or coaches could run a kids training dayinclude a marching band and a flag displayreserves could host a street skills or bounce gamecoaches from boys clubs could pay a small fee to learn hints and tips from top team coachesscreens could be used to run past games or interviews or sing alongs(give kids an insight into what match days can be like)have the usual bouncy castles etc for kids.ending the day with a ticketed meal and drinks in ibrox with the players old and new.learn our history seminarsinvite the army to run shooting, absailing displays and competitions etcwould raise a minimum £200,000 or so in cash, would think with little costs but the real gain would be made by encouraging season ticket sales for kids, signed strips, and continuing the great relationship between the club and its fans

Maybe not a whole car park, maybe just a bit of the pedestrian space at any of the 4 corners? And we could have honoured guests and Rangers Legends also leaving their mark, and Bears paying to get alongside them, and the whole thing could also become a popular tourist attraction. Imodium 423
May have missed the boat for it but a fly on the wall tv show would have been very interesting given the journey we have been on since the summer. The US audience love things like that as well. Hopefully no David Brent antics like Brendan Rogets though!
