Last i heard their should be around 5million from this IPO. I think their was 10million their for the fans to take?

Does this mean that the all the things Green was talking about ie stadium upgrades etc are fucked now?

Or will that still go ahead?

£4m from their original one.........think the immigrants have had three in total.

Did Murray do one of these? So the manky mob have had three share issues and only raised 4million?

Did i not read someones post on here the other day some fud called "in the know" and he brought this up as if it was amazing?

Rangers fans have put more money into their club in the last 4 months alone than the majority of other clubs fans in Scotland have.

They never mention this fact though in Scotland. :pipe:

The worst time of year to have this kind of think tbh.

Lucky I saved with this on the cards.

I can only assume that CG knew that too, and that he had his own motives for issuing it now - and I'm fine with that - he's much smarter than me.

I know he said "I promised before the end of the year" but I'm also sure that he could have easily adapted that promise, and we would have been happy, not angry. So the fact that he didn't suggests he had reasons.

I know Charles Green said that he wanted to have the IPO this year but he should probably have waited until spring. However I have a notion that having it earlier was a case of "striking while the iron is hot" in relation to the institutional/corporate investors. He probably felt it was better to go for it now. Some fans have complained that there wasn't enough notice but it was about three months ago when it was mooted for December. I'm not sure if Charles is particularly concerned about supporters not taking up their full allocation as he stated that the corporate investment was over-subscribed and he could go back to them. I'm not opposed to that idea. I can fully understand that £500 is a significant amount to many fans but there must be thousands of others who can easily afford that amount. For those people who could afford but haven't signed up, after today if you haven't subscribed then don't complain about how the Club is run in the future.

I am in agreement re CG not that overly worried about fans taking up allocation..........it can and would be a can of worms . Just to have that one share if that's what a fan wants to have his name on a share certificate.

It is my opinion that if CG really wanted to concentrate on fan ownership he would have delayed the IPO until next spring. Clearly he thinks it better to get the corporate investment now. £17m would be 34k fans at £500 and you can imagine the struggle to get that. 2000 fans per £1m is a lot of trouble when you can get a dozen or so investors to come up with £17m.

And less hassle.

I think the 1st will be all sweetness and lovey dovey unless the rst come in dressed in battle fatigues :7325:

Don't start me on the RST. First question from you know who: Can I get a seat on the board as fans' representative?

I don't know what I'll find funniest, the "seat on the board" bit or the "fans' representative" bit.

Yet many cannot see that the man , well is not really for the club as more for a bank account and what he can get re sitting in a certain area within

the ground.
