RANGERS' new betting partner Bet Butler, in conjunction with BD Stadia are looking to develop a high quality team of part-time betting cashiers to assist in the processing of supporter bets at Ibrox from January 2013 and for the remainder of the current season.

Staff will be required to work match days, weekends and evenings for approximately 3 hours, with additional hours available to the right candidates.

Rate of pay starts at £8.33 per hour

As part of the BD Stadia in-stadium betting team, duties would include:

  • Processing bets from supporters prior to kick off
  • Cash handling and reconciling paperwork
  • Delivering high levels of customer service and help promote the Bet Butler brand

The successful candidates must be:

  • Honest and reliable
  • Professional and smart in appearance
  • Available to work at weekend and evening fixtures
  • Well-spoken, confident and enthusiastic
  • Ideally experienced in customer service and cash handling

An understanding of betting/odds would be beneficial but it is not a pre-requisite.

Please note, due to Gambling Commission legislation we can only offer this position to candidates over the age of 18.

If interested, please apply to the following address www.bdstadia.co.uk/application

You will need to fill out the online application stating ‘Rangers’ as your preferred stadium.

Please complete all sections including references and attaching a clear photograph.

Due to the number of applications received we are only able to contact those who are successful and some applicants may be contacted at a later date when additional spaces become available.

Only worth it if you are allowed to go watch the game after all bets have been taken before KO.

My mate used to do it down here for Ladbrokes while we are at uni, although also done hours in other stores. Not a bad little shift as he did used to get to watch parts of the game but would have to go back just before half time and full time. Maybe not that good without the additional hours though.
