KingKirk 26,532
Just how good can he become? He reminds me of a young Barry ferguson.. Am liking the look of him and Hutts in the middle Black has his work cut out to get back in, when he's fit.
SwallowsHisOwnSpunk 8,009
now we all know Black will walk back into the team regardless, Hutton could play like Busquets and still he would be dropped for Black.

elephants stoned 2,994
Lewis excites me (not in that way ) i know some people think hes overrated but i think he could be one of the best youth players we have produced from Auchinhowie. Calm, great ball control, excelent passing and very assured in the first team. As Ally said tonight if he works on his finishing and learns a little better decision making he will be a very very good player.
nachothelegend 1,932
Getting better and better every game.Very good tonight indeed.
Shearer 124
I thought he was great tonight, Having Hutton in the team lets him drive that little bit further forward and gives our wingers and strikers more support.I'm looking forward to seeing how he progresses for us! nvager 498
We have a lot of potential with McLeod, McKay, Naismith, Cole, Aird and others. Hope it all works out and not per Fleck, Ness and other past potential stars.
Ozblue 4,332
Lewis MacLeod has all the attributes to be a great wee player. At 18 yrs old he is getting more confident and better week by week,so if he keeps his feet on the ground and works hard he will be a real bonus for us. simplythebest 11,453
The boy is going places, thankfully we've got him tied down on that 5 year deal.Least means we won't lose him for nothing to another club.#pessimisticview

GOAT 30,449
Cracking player. Comparing him to Ferguson right now is nonsense though. Barry Ferguson broke into the team at a time we spent £35m in one summer, and still was our best midfielder. Barry ferguson was making European midfielders look ordinary. Barry Ferguson was dragging the team by the scruff of the neck and making it work. Lewis is playing against part timers.

the goal machine 7,997
He's starting to get stuck in more as well, noticed him and Hutton winning a lot of balls in midfield tonight. He's started every game for a reason, he's a great young player with loads of potential.

MasterD 7,464
Played better last night than he has done in a while. Needs to keep it up and improve his shooting.

Bad Robot 21,513
I thought he is probably one of the fastest lads in this division and probably Scotland. He has great skill and balance but needs to improve on his decision making, last night he was straight through a couple of times and passed instead of taking a shot himself. I only see good things from him in the future.
EatDolphins 5,360
Great work rate, gets stuck right in and wins position. Needs to work on his finishing a bit but that'll come in time. Looking like a very bright future for him.
gerbilly 7
Him and Hutton work well together as Kyle can do his dirty work for him. Lewis had a quiet start last night but really came on to a game. Also helped having two wide players and nobody playing in that gap like Shiels who has been disappointing so far.Little looked good also when up front on his own. Hutton is a good foil for him also. There is no way in the world that Lewis MacLeod will end up being a "holding player" in a good team. All these people who denigrate his technical ability as an all round midfielder are not seeing what I see.At the moment he might not be up to the same standard of what Rhys McCabe (20yrs old) was/is as a defending midfielder and he might not be up to what Jamie Ness (21 yrs old) was/is as an attacking midfielder, but I sure as fuck know what one is the better all round midfielder. This kid is playing in a division that gives a midfielder no time to look around and pick his options of what he wants to do off the ball and on the ball,so for fuck sake give the kid a break and appreciate what we have in front of us for the future all things going well.We as a support whinge like fuck when a kid with possibilities never gets a chance, then when Ally gives him a break, the same supporters slag him for not being a Harold Davis and/or a Jim Baxter.
