Whilst it is great to hear that we are in a good financial way, I would like to hope that this war chest that you talk about does not get spent in the next 2-3 years as we do not require it.

I and most rangers fans enjoy seeing the Macleods, Mckays, Airds of the world coming through and would like to see more of the same.

We do of course like some investment in the first team when it is required but now is not the time to talk about spending 10 million pounds. In actual fact I would be delighted if we brought in a good right back (tom hateley or ryan mcgowan, free transfers i think, that'd do? Alan Hutton may not be that expensive) a decent centre back or two (if boca or goian go? I'm sure u could get some decent ones relatively cheap/free) 1 more winger (andy halliday on a free will fit in nicely!) and a striker that the fans will like (Jamie murphy on a free is good for me!) If you really want to add Murray Davidson on a free then that's fine with me, but I think shiels, macleod, hutton and black are good enough for now.

We don't need high profile, big wage signings just a few more decent quality bodies to add to our squad and spend the money scouting and attracting youth.

Thank you.

Something tells me Charles doesn't read this forum.

Hahaha if i were in charge of us then i would... but then maybe that's why I'm not in charge! That and the fact that I have no financial, football or business background... other than that I'd be great at the job! My credentials are I play a lot of Fifa and Football Manager! haha!

You'd rather have the greek?

Yes. He is being sold short by some of his team mates. At least 3 or 4 times the other night I watched Alexander wave Argyriou over to play the short ball. He'd wait until Argyriou had made himself a nice wee space with plenty options and then punt the ball towards Sandaza who couldn't have won a header if we had played a team of midgets the other night.

If there's one thing that does my head in it's stuff like that. It's as if the tactic is to punt the ball high and long knowing the defenders will head it to the area where our midfielders can perhaps win the 2nd ball and set up the attack from deep in the opposition half.

I'd much prefer to see us passing the ball on the deck and making our opponents come out where we can then stretch them by our superior passing and fitness.

Argyriou is still relatively young yet and will get better as he gets older.Perhaps not the best R/B I've seen at Ibrox but not the worst either.
