linnyplant 303
This season will always go down as special for me.Its been a time when Rangers fans have truly united and shown what loyalty really is,I just feel that I am part of something that is really unique and coming to Ibrox now for a game seems like a spiritual experience . It's easy to get behind a team when they are successful but we have shown unprecedented support in a time of great adversity for our great club. Our rivals have been taken aback by our resolve and their glee at our imminent demise in there eyes has now turned to resentment and hatred as they watch us thrive instead. I am so proud to support The Rangers and we have 5 generations of loyal Rangers supporters within my family who have been through thick and thin .I have been pleasantly surprised by the level of entertainment in SFL3. How many times did you turn up at Ibrox in the SPL to watch boring defensive matches with teams coming to try and win a point. It;s not like that now and it's a great buzz to see our young players develop and reach their potential I really don't want to be fast tracked back to the top flight as I am more than happy to work our way to the top and when we get their it will be so so special. Bad Robot 21,513
Although our future is now looking very good and it's great to see the younger players getting a chance and this is a bit of an adventure but personally there is no comparison. I think we are making the best of a bad situation and i would rather be competing in the top division and Europe anyday as it's where we belong. I yearn for the day we retake our crown as champions of Scotland and the prospect of Champions League football again. I have no doubt that CG will lead us down this path. TBagalag 730
While I share the OP's opinion of how brilliant our fans have been this season and how good it is to see our young players develop, I have not been overly entertained watching the standard of football we are currently watching. I genuinely believe that our level of play has been lowered to the level of opposition we are playing and we have only had glimpses of what our team is truly capable of eg. Motherwell game. The novelty of lower league football has worn off for me a tad and I can't wait to be back where we belong; fighting for top league titles, Europe etc. No matter what I, or anyone else says though, there are some exciting times ahead and perhaps 3rd, 2nd and 1st division football ( if restructure doesn't occur) is a necessary evil to ensure our prolonged future success. loyalfollower 1,543
I've never felt closer to the club, being kicked by everyone, the deserters and then rules made up as we go along. We now have a young team that we can be proud of. When we nearly lost our club the fans actually realised what rangers meant to them. I wish the turmoil of last 12 months, but without it us fans would never gave been united and quick to correct any media drivel driven by bigotry
nvager 498
I agree with the OP, but really look forward to our renaissance continuing and us being back at the top of European football where we belong.I also think CG and Co are the right people to take us there too. Allanger 625
There have been highs and lows. The one thing which I hope comes to fruition is the development of our young players. We have the opportunity over the next couple of season to have some real quality in our side
