A Friendly Match with Big Euro Team

I think our Young Players would benefit immensley from a Match against European opposition.

I think a game against a big name such as Ajax , Shalke or maybe Seville or Lazio would give our Lads a chance to savour whats ahead for them.

We need to make this happen soon , and I would like to see how they would compete against Foreign Players , who are Technically Superior.

Also give Ally a chance to see where we need to strenghten when we get back to the Top.

Would be interesting to see what level we are capable of .

What do we all think of this?

Confidence is a fragile thing to youngsters and we are on a winning run so I don't see how a chase the ball session against a European power house would help just now.

I'm not against it if it were lower end euro clubs but then would the attract the punters?

Hopefully pre season we will get some tests against technical sides which will help the young ones and bed them in so to speak.

I don't see what benefit our young players would get from getting pumped by a top class European team,as others have already said this is way too early for a game like that.

Ha would be nice .

Just dreaming .

You're a moron on so many levels.

Firstly. This thread.

Secondly. The European comment. (insert shifty eyes - sniff sniff)

Thirdly. You must be really mentally challenged. You have the vocabulary and spelling skills of a nursery child.

is this for the benefit of the players or are you missing european football?

We were well beaten by ICT not that long ago nevermind a top european side.

Our youth are progressing nicely let's not do anything to derail that

I think the Players would benefit the most from this I dont miss Euro football at alk

Players like McLeod Aird and McKay would learn from such a game.

If not a big Club then perhaps an English Club like Leeds or maybe Birmingham City but would like them to Gauge our Team and for them to learn against technically superior opposition.

I reckon we would be surprised .
