dalton 1,192
I like balotelli as an individual and that is what he is full stop- not a team player.Mancini and man city would have lost the title last year if he had persisted in mariowhen tevez returned they were a different propsition up front. There is some bond there whether it is Italian or sentimental that mancinidoesnt seem to want to let go of .I dont understand mancini how he hasnt the brain to see that his prize guyis the problem had he not left tevez on the bench the last manchester derbymight have been a major result to win the league .He needs to ditch his obsession as its going to cost him his job the club want to discipline balotelli for his previous yet stil mancini wants to keep him ? TheKingObv 10,877
I genuinely think he's completely average ability wise. Don't get why Mancini continues to give him chances.
hugh_capet 341
An expensive mistake, good player on his day but a total deadbeat of a guy
The Godfather 76,003
He's living off the game against Germany. He's played like 3 or 4 decent to good games this past year. A liability who will never make it as a great in this game.Clearly Mancini loves the bison in him...
TheKingObv 10,877
I reckon he's banging Mancini.
Creampuff 22,630
Mancini's looked after him since he was a boy, it'd break his heart to cast him off.
Thermopylae 15,288
I just don't think anyone else would pay him what City are so he will stay there at least for the time being ... let's face it if even Mourinho can't make him tow the line he's probably just a lost cause
Ozblue 4,332
Balotelli is to Mancini what Lafferty was to Walter
TravelingWilBEARy 4,319
Balotelli strikes me as a player who's best years will come in his late 20's-early 30's.
derek1872 548
Average player. Average manager. Well suited to each other.

derek1872 548
Its not as if he set up the goal that won them the league or anything.Aye him slide tackling the ball to Aguero puts him up there with Pele.
Columbo 588
Aye him slide tackling the ball to Aguero puts him up there with Pele.To be fair last season for City he scored 13 goals in 23 EPL appearances so he can't be all useless. While its stating the obvious inspite of the above stat he's a liability to have at times and far too inconsistent. This season he isn't scoring and hasn't matured both in terms of ability or maturity

JamieD 20,080
He was all those things. However he was 5 times the player Balotelli is.Agreed, but he allowed his heart to rule his head as a player. Clearly in the case of Balotelli at least, he allows it to do the same as a manager. His antics are boring and he needs to grow up.and ye Mancini is clearly letting his heart rule his head. Long my it continue!
