My laptop is shite, not fast enough for my connection speed, do twitter updates for me

I am the same mate.

Got one of those stupid dongles.

Only £10 month but too slow for anything to run.

When we went in to admin though I got rid of my sky espn immediately.

Gonna get thre g next when my dongle runs out.

Thats only £16 onth and much much faster.

Wish I could get RTV though.

I have a wee mate who uses an old three phone as a modem.

He buys the all inclusive top up for £15 a month, gets 300 mins talk time 3000 text's and unlimited internet.

He watches streams all the time. He's not watching on his phone, he watches on his computer. Connection is fair.

Also worth mentioning just how fantastic the quality of the last UK streamed game was! Excellent picture quality, excellent frame rate, and not a single buffering problem.

And Rangers have assured us that the login problems caused by the overwhelming numbers trying to log in last time, causing some people to miss the first 10 minutes or so, has also been addressed. :21:

All we need now is some tech advice from members on what cable you need (and where to get it) so that you can get the picture from your pc on to your main television.

10mins? 25 more like :p20:

The connections all depend on what "holes" your telly has to which "holes" your computer has you might need a crossover lead

most common are-:

Firewire

Vga

Hdmi

without seeing your telly and computer cant say exactly what you'll need :21:

Pc world, local computer shop, currys etc......

So where would you recommend the user goes for advice and sales? PCWorld?

Edit: And if they take their existing monitor cable in with them, would that help?

Might be worth mentioning that VGA does not carry sound and that it would still be laptop/PC speakers for that.

Check your TV model number on the back of your TV, blast it in to google, check the section of specs labeled "Input/output". It should give you a check list of which connection it supports.

Not caught a game on RTV yet but was planning on getting in on the action today but still got to brave going in to town to START Christmas shopping  May just pay for the game anyway! On a seperate and frustrating note, the missus bought me the Rangers Home top from Sports Direct and the courier Yodel (shite, I know) apparently delivered it on 19/12/2012 at 2100hrs yet there is no sign of it or a delivery card anyway. Signatory believe it or not was 'DELIVERED'. Not a happy bear and not getting anywhere with Sports Direct. Missus also not happy she has been done out of £30 buy heyho!!

I have a Samsung Galaxy Unlimited Internet , how can I run this as a Modem .

Any body know how to set this up on my PC?

Cheers . It might just work for me .

Fucking Yodel!!! :p20:

Tell SportsDirect that if they don't sort it out, RangersMedia will boycott them!!!

Funny thing is, I work for a Freight company and Sports Direct are one of our customers. I tried to go down the normal route of contacting Customer Services but I can get the phone number for Mike Ashley and the chief exec of Sports Direct so I may kick off on Monday :cgreen:
