EatDolphins 5,360
Very promising. If I'm honest the thing I hoped to gain most from our "wilderness years" was concentrating on bring through our own and we are certainly doing that. It can only encourage the younger players and make them believe if they work hard enough they really do have a chance.
Goianegra 4,710
I change my mind every week on which one looks the most promising.I think the majority of them have a real chance of being regulars even when we're back on top where we belong. Chesh 28
I just hope that once we are allowed to sign players with money and stuff that the policy so far this season doesn't change.

That would defeat the meaning behind everything we do to get back where we belong.

Blue Forever 179
Only signings should be better defenders, middle to front we are sorted with the young guys plus Jig.
dazbo84 698
If we have to go all the way through the SFL divisions (which I doubt) , we have a chance to do something that we could not have dreamed of before ∧ bring a full generation of young players through and not one or two a season . I think part of the long term plan for us getting young players to a point where they are good enough to sell to EPL teams for good money . cushynumber 25,178
They have great promise and potential. I hope they go on to be every bit as good as we all hope they will be.
TravelingWilBEARy 4,319
The perseverance and faith shown by Ally in these youngsters shows why he is the only man for the job. I saw some idiot claim that his role is 'superfluous' a while ago, obviously he hasn't posted much recently.

Moody Blue Legend 63,567
Absolutely delighted with the lads. Really surprised with the ability they have shown (better than most of the seasoned pros). Still a long way to go, but the signs are looking good. OzGers 425
I was going to post this as well. I hear alot of journos and phone ins taking the gloss of this by saying that "their playing in 3rd division" but they way the likes of McLeod n McKay play, you can already see they are levels above their opposition. They are gaining confidence and no fear which they will Carry thru the divisions and years. I mean McKay was almost unplayable at times yesterday.. I fully believe these guys would certainly be shining lights even if we are in SPL, and no doubt certain detractors outside the club will sit up n take notice the next time we face SPL opposition
