Our youngsters are quality

Very promising. If I'm honest the thing I hoped to gain most from our "wilderness years" was concentrating on bring through our own and we are certainly doing that. It can only encourage the younger players and make them believe if they work hard enough they really do have a chance.

It's a big reason I'm glad we never signed anymore players in the summer, even if it left us a bit shorter on numbers.

I just hope that once we are allowed to sign players with money and stuff that the policy so far this season doesn't change.

Agreed I don't ever want to return to the days of throwing money about cause it's the done thing. That would defeat the meaning behind everything we do to get back where we belong.

If we have to go all the way through the SFL divisions (which I doubt) , we have a chance to do something that we could not have dreamed of before ∧ bring a full generation of young players through and not one or two a season .

I think part of the long term plan for us getting young players to a point where they are good enough to sell to EPL teams for good money .

I was going to post this as well. I hear alot of journos and phone ins taking the gloss of this by saying that "their playing in 3rd division" but they way the likes of McLeod n McKay play, you can already see they are levels above their opposition. They are gaining confidence and no fear which they will Carry thru the divisions and years. I mean McKay was almost unplayable at times yesterday.. I fully believe these guys would certainly be shining lights even if we are in SPL, and no doubt certain detractors outside the club will sit up n take notice the next time we face SPL opposition
