jimmy millar 107
Current SPL sponsorship deal runs out at the end of this season, with no sign of a replacement. Now I think they will have great difficulty attracting a heavyweight organisation to pump money in to their ailing league without us,but I wonder what our attitude should be.Are we to let any would be sponsor know they will not be getting our dosh,or are we to remember that when we are back to our rightful position at the top of a new league set up,proper sponsorship will be needed?Really interested in your thoughts. govanblue 16,847
Personally I think it's a little bit childish to boycott a sponsor. If everybody did that, then we would also have difficulty attracting sponsors.

charleyfarley 14
No one in there right mind would sponsor the SPL until they know which company is handling the tv, if as has been mooted sky do not take up the option of a further 4 years, so unless some company is brave enough to commit without knowing ,don't think many will think "BBC ALBA" is at the cutting edge of tv advertising
legalbeagle 3,734
The more the season moves on, and the more intriguing sponsorship and TV negotiations become, it will be interesting to see how people choose to engage with us. We are in a position now where we cannot be blackmailed again, as we were in the summer, so we have nothing to lose, and hold a lot of cards. Blumhoilann 6,715
If they hadn't been such spiteful di*kheads they could have had the services of Charles Green as Rangers CEO leading the way to a much stronger financial position but I 'think' those bridges are well and truely burnt. Edmiston Drive 3,846
Big Tam or Tommy as he prefers to be called as alleged by many in the know................was allegedly seen at Glasgow airport in discussions with the CEO f a Japanese Airline............now when this alleged meeting took place and the people involved one would automatically think..............hmmmmmmmmmmmm more likely to be an end of season tour of Japan........than sponsorship of the spl.........then you remember that the immigrants toured Japan at the end of season 07/08.Strange one indeed That old Sunday Glasgow banter, don't you just love it. foghorn leghorn 608
That would be total laugh if we sponsered the sphel. We as supporters could contribute the cash we might have spent on the Dundee Hibs tickets.BY the way fellow bears, don't buy tickets for Tannadump because our team and CEO supports our boycott. Our CEO got behind our vote, so don't be scabs, ok and back the majority.
