bluechip 359
Okay folks, here we go again. I am sick to the back teeth having to listen to the anti Rangers BBC Scotland and their not so investigative journalists. If you say something often enough then people start to believe it and this is what BBC Scotland do. Well enough is enough. This is not just another, I complained and here is the reply thread, this is a thread with a question which will be at the bottom of the post. Here is the email I sent them, I will let you know the reply if I get one.I would like the BBC (not BBC Scotland) to investigate the continual bias against Rangers FC. I do not want this referred to BBC Scotland for their standard and insufficient reply to complaints about their bias editors and reporters.I want the BBC in London to open an investigation into this continual attack on my team. It is absolutely outrageous they can get away with this ongoing treatment and mis reporting of the facts. They have been totally unprofessional in their approach and reporting about Rangers troubles in 2012.I expect action taking against this unacceptable situation. How would the BBC react if 500,000 Rangers fans refused to pay their TV licence fees? If this situation continues you might find this becoming a reality.Time for the Director General to get involved and casts his eyes North to see how hated BBC Scotland are from a Rangers family point of view.We demand a level playing field in Scotland.Would you good people consider witholding your TV licence fee? KingKirk 26,439
That will get no reply imo. Putting a threat in was a bad idea.
Johnny Hubbard 280
now that Traynor's gone. BBC have given Cosgrove the unrestricted freedom to continue his rants from lunchtime to evening on Saturdays. Not only that but Tommy the taxi driver (who even Clyde have blanked) was allowed to spew shite without anyone cutting him offSaturday was worse than usual

JohnH 270
The topic could have been titled "BBC Scotland is Biased" and been on the money.
IanFerguson2012 123
If anyone in my immediate family, myself included, is going to send a letter or email that's important we always get others to read it & correct/comment before sending. The content of the above email could be much better. The reference to 500,000 fans withholding their license fee is OTT and unnecessary. You need to start with facts and ensure they understand the problem, eg: BBC Scotland's continual bias.ps: Witholding the license fee while watching TV is a criminal offence 'Watching TV without a valid licence is a criminal offence. This can lead to prosecution, a court appearance and a fine of up to £1,000 (not including legal costs). '

Blue Nosed Babe 21,406
The email is in the right spirit but not very well written. Also, I will not be breaking the law here and I am sure many others will not either. There are better ways to get the job done, for example sending clips of the offending material to Ofcom. I do not respond to threats and besides, thank you for recognising that I am smart. Like I said, go to Ofcom and don't threaten them. If you post emails that you send on a forum then you should expect constructive criticism about them and not be so precious.

If you have complained to anybody before, rather than tell other people to do it, you will have realised that you can only input a certain amount of charactes in the complaint. Had I had the opportunity to complain about everything that is wrong with BBC Scotland, I could have been here all night and it would have been very well written, with facts, anecdotes and even some comedy. covenanter 158
Different keys for different locks.Try asking BBC Scotland as to the whereabouts of their Chief Football Reporter, Chris McLaughlin? You know the Gollomesque individual that spent a year on the wasteground in front of the main stand. Dearest Chris has NOT been seen, NOR heard since he interviewed Craig Whyte 5-6 weeks past. Twenty-four hours before the broadcast of said interview, the entire contents were released on Phil McFournamesandcounting's blog. BBC Scotland announced there would be an internal enquiry into how such an event could transpire a couple of days later.Surely, Chris was not supplying a fantasist tarred with the sectarian brush? We should be told, where's Chris?
