Personally, If am not driving or have my kids with me, then I will 100% be as pished as I can get between Argyll and wherever I may be headed.

I also think it adds to the atmosphere at the game, probably why night games are usually better atmosphere-wise.

So, what's your opinion?

I like hip flask. Last time it was a few beers on the train, then hip flask of 60% pear brandy from the Czech Republic. A couple of wee tots and you're laughing.

The brandy I get from a Czech guy at my work, braw stuff.

That said I'm not getting properly drunk and don't think that's a good idea in general.

Just to clarify the 'should drinking be brought back into stadiums ' for the younger bears.

I was never supposed to be allowed in the first place, people just used to smuggle a carry-oot into the ground and a blind eye was usually turned. alcohol was never on sale.

It is a totally different thing having bars in the stadium selling pints of watered down beer, in the modern day it should be allowed.

I would bring it in, in a controlled manner. As said before we could never buy a drink in the ground but were allowed to take it in. Buckie down the sock etc.

1 hour prior to kick off and half time only...Plastic tumblers .

The revenue it would bring in as fans would be in the stadium earlier having a beer wi the guys who sit with them(if they don't already).

The law against drinking in the streets killed the day out for me and coincided with me stopping going to every home game ( kids and work didn't help ).the atmosphere on the copland road before the game was class and was a big part of the day .

I think it's good fun to have a couple of drinks pre-game but anything beyond that spoils it. I don't drink pre-game unless I'm at hospitality but I used to always have a couple when I was younger & going to away games on the Barrhead supporters bus.

I don't think drink during the games is a good idea. People would keep getting refills and end up legless. (I am fond of mentioning that I was at the Barcelona game. One guy waved to the crowd the whole game due to his excessive boozing. Never saw a ball kicked. No doubt he bought the DVD).

Suppose you're always going to get the nuggets that get pished and make an arse of themselves, but I'd love to be able to get a drink inside the stadium, I've been to a couple of Newcastle games this season and love the fact I don't need to jog the last 200 yards to the stadium because I wanted one more pint.

Getting bevvy'd up makes the fitbaw.

Home games I normally don't drink unless it was a game against the mhanky mob, I normally drive to ibrox, the last few weeks though I've just got the supporters bus and into the Viceroy for a few pre-match Vodkas. :). Thinking of getting RSC from now on too much hassle getting parking spaces driving.

I think it will only be available before kick off if it is allowed.

It's not even allowed at half time in hospitality at the minute so i cant see that one changing.

Dunno about getting pished before the game...of the 4 away European games I've been to I can't remember any of them....although wouldn't change the experience to be fair.

I think if you brought back drinking in the stadium like they have down south you would find more people would have a drink but maybe not get leg less before it.

Who picked '' Dont Drink'' then picked ''yes (drinker)'' or ''no (drinker)''

I think you are drunk you non drinking drinker.

I Drive to the games ergo I don't drink. However, I do believe in freedom of choice. I think they should serve booze at games. It's a free country after all.
