Rangers owner Charles Green admits he'll attend Dundee United cup clash despite urging fans to boycott tieUnited – who have to split the gate with Rangers despite their refusal to take tickets – are charging £15 for adults and £5 for concessions.Rangers fans who still wish to attend can buy tickets direct from Tannadice for the away end but Thompson has asked home fans to turn out in force. He said: “Much has been said and written about this fixture since it was first announced.“Most of this has been based on ill-informed criticism of this club and we will not respond in kind. Instead we would much prefer that both clubs do their talking on the pitch. Dundee United blast Ibrox chief Charles Green over claims selling tickets to Rangers fans risks their safety“A large crowd backing the team will give us an even greater chance of winning the match. We have made this as affordable as possible and in a season when our fans have shown unwavering support I urge them once again to turn out in great numbers and drive the team on in this game.“The Scottish Cup brings great memories for all Arabs and I ask everyone to turn Tannadice into a sea of tangerine when we play Rangers.”Briefs go on sale to United season-ticket holders today with a general sale for both the home and away end commencing on Friday. norgerpd 280
I completely understand how,as the match gets closer, its gonna tempt some Bears into making the trip. But,please, please, please, resist the urge, guys and gals(fuck, thats a dodgy catchphrase,if ever Ive heard one!) and fill your local Bluenose pub to the rafters. And,if we dont slay the fuckers first time,we'll get our chance to make another statement on live British TV,in the replay. ForeverBlue_Since91 2,895
Aye the media are trying to make out Charles Green is taking the cunt out of Rangers by attending. Another thing the media have got wrong Charles Green did not start this boycott he didn't tell us to stay away either. As soon as the draw was made Many RSCS said they were not running buses to Dundee. Then TBO and UBS said they weren't going and it went on from there etc..Rangers fans who were not going wanted Green to make it an official boycott and reject our ticket allocation. And he done that as he listened to his fans the way the other 12 SPL clubs listened to there fans during the summer.
