Mr Green talks a fantastic game, this will be the time for him to play one too.
loyalfollower 1,543
I thought Green had already said we would unless it suited us? yes he did say he'd told Doncaster and longmuir of his intention on keeping tv rights. But- and there's always a but. If we're all under one league set up then our rights will go to the set up we find ourselves in.

KingKirk 26,416
surely the SFL will hold our tv rights and be able to sell them off to the SPL like this seasonWe gave them to the spl am sure so they could get a tv deal at our expense..that won't be happening next season according to Green

Bet that has got the rest of them quaking at the thought we tell them to fuck off! Pay us to allow you to film or GTFIf i'm correct in thinking this is why Scottish football is in a mess. I recall the SPL/SFA knocking back a deal of £50m for tv rights from sky and the SPL/SFA saying they could get better deal(s) elsewhere. Sky called their bluff and we ended up with a £10m contract with Sentanta, the rest is history.
iain1712 336
I think some of us are missing a very important bit of skulduggery by the spl here. The only reason they have agreed to amalgamate with the sfl is to get rangers back into their organisation. By doing this we are part of the parcel they can sell broadcasters in order to gain a tv deal. We will have the right to refuse, however the new administration created by the amalgamation will be the only show in town. It looks like if we want to play football we will have to agree to a tv deal. So Charlie green you have been superb so far but you will really have to pull a rabbit out of the hat here, if we get a deal from this with a fair share of the tv money it won't be such a bad thing. sergio 1,199
I said it already tonight, this whole 12 12 18 was designed purely to keep the boot on our throat whilst they pick out pockets, We are members of the SFA, however we also need our license to be transfered over to the new Footballing League from the one we are currently in.We will be blackmailed into signing it, just like we were for the SPL this time around, I cannot see another way out of it. They are corrupt to the core and they think they are untouchable .... Lets Hope Charlie take the fight to the cunts

korealoyal 53
I would love if it Greeen gave them the ultimatum : "Include us now or we won't sign up to anything"I'd take a year of no competitive football, waiting for the SPL + SFA combo to go tits up... then swoop in and rebuild the whole thing from the ground up. If we want to play football next season and be included in any league set up (in Scotland) then we will be blackmailed into surrendering (shit choice of words, sorry) our TV rights to ensure that we are included. We'll still be in the bottom 18 of this suicidal set up tho. Their corruption knows no bounds.
