Hi RM,

I'm sure a lot of you know what CRO (CoplandRoad.Org) is, less will know me as I'm recently signed up at the site. Written three articles so far on Hearts & Rangers, the BBC & Rangers and the Hullo Hullo song's possible return.

Anyway...

Basically we want to gather up some loose ideas of what fans want done with the IPO cash stated for ground/surrounding improvements, narrow that to a concise list of maybe 3-5, and present it via the site. There may be an opportunity for me to get in contact with the club and get their opinion on the ideas.

I'm omitting the bar/larger shop plan from the vote, as Green has already mentioned it. Please remember it's been stated that £5.5m is for Ibrox upgrades with £4.5m to purchase land assets adjacent to Ibrox.

So please vote away Bears, and please do tell me if I've missed out any or what your 'Other' idea is.

THE SCREENS

THE SCREENS

THE SCREENS

The trip to Hampden showed us how dreadful our screens really are. Wrong shape, too small, crap resolution, pixels all burnt out

And so poorly utilised. Hampden had photos of players etc to announce substitutions. Welcome messages etc. That really made a difference. Very hi-tech.

We used to have player pictures, as recently as last season! Don't know what's happened with that this season, though. Maybe you could make a sponsor's enquiry? :P

I'll have bloody Ofcom on to them if they don't get those screens replaced pronto!!!

The Board will decide what has to be done with the money...........plus they will already know what's to be done with the money raised.............why else would they have raised said funds.

So really the thread is like asking a mate on the pub...what would you do if you won the lottery. Why should fans have a say regards what the money has to be used for.

i was reading some article few months back about team in either holland or belgium, might actually be utrecht.

at the end of every season the fans get together every weekend at the stadium and carry out work that needs done painting etc.... cause they like to feel part of the stadium and before the season starts again they all gather again for massive piss up and all the players and staff turn up to thank them.

we should do this

That sounds like a good idea, and shouldn't be too difficult to arrange, as long as the club provided materials.

Tho whole outside of Ibrox needs done up, excluding the main stand. It looks horrific tbh. You never see photos of the stadium from any other directon than the main stand or from above.

That's a massive job though and not exactly necessary. I would like to see it done over the next 5 or so seasons, maybe a stand at a time or something. It looks well out of date compared to other stadiums around the UK.

General maintenance and the screens should be top priority though.

What's the £4.5m for land around the stadium for?

yeah club supplied materials, fans turned up then where split up fans with skills in painting plumbing etc watched over it so everything was done to high standard !
