Drunk and disorderly. 15,072
Not for us so far. He sets up some cracking goals though. I see him a as a supplier rather than a finisher. The cross for Templeton's goal was superb. It was his best game in a Rangers jersey IMO.
ForeverBlue1872 463
The modern day strikers are about more than just scoring goals though, granted that's the most important thing but modern day strikers especially the ones who play the lone striker role have to link up with the play and be able to hold up the ball and take on defenders, Sandaza did that brilliantly today and was desperately unlucky not to score. The Mongoose 1,007
I have always said that Sandaza caused most problems for defences when he played for Dundee Hibs and St Johnstone when he had the ball at his feet and running at defences like he did today. Was gutted for him that he did not score but more than did his bit today.I still can't believe we had 3 shots at goal today ( ok may have been crosses I am in Copland) in the first half that went out for throw ins! A natural striker would have scored a hatrick. Andy Little did anyhow. Who was the striker of the two?????????????????
TMB 14,167
If we're going to play with one up top than he must be able to score goals. Templeton, Sheils, and McKay will be the creative forces. For me, Sandaza blows WAY more chances than he scores. This seaon Sandaza has scored one goal. That's right, one goal, against part-timers no less! McCulloch has scored 22 goals and some were in games in which he was a CB. Sandaza has no excuses, start scoring goals, that's why you were brought here!
ayrshireger 523
He is a natural striker, but I do think he is a striker who relies on confidence in order to be at the top of his game.Once he gets one goal, I reckon he'll score a whole lot more. He was unlucky today, he did everything else but score.

Andy Little did anyhow. Who was the striker of the two?????????????????I think it was just one of those games for him where he did everything right except for hitting the back of the net. I'd like to see him playing along side someone though, I think he'll be even more effective then.
King Jela 21,555
He is. I can see why people doubt him, but he is a very good striker. In the minority, but I believe he'll come good for Rangers. Sandaza Loyal.
LeeWallaceRFC 3,920
Ally signed him as a striker, but I've also heard that he was interested in giving him a trial at right back. In al seriousness, I agree that he is better in the side as a supplier at the moment. Can't wait to see him & Jig up front.

He has the technique to create chances for himself or others, which will be useful if we are struggling to break down teams.

He was unlucky today, he did everything else but score.Hit the nail on the head there, he hasn't had much of a run of form since he arrived at Ibrox and particularly since he returned from injury. However, he played out his skin today, if Little hadn't scored a hattrick then I think he would have been a contender for MOTM, but until he gets a goal to settle him I think we'll see his form continue in this vein. Between him and Aird firing it from miles out, we didn't half have some tryers in the latter part of today's game!

How many goals have Little and McCulloch scored combined? 40? Sandaza's scored only one.The fact that he has to create chances for himself and that we're struggling to break down part-time teams is concerning. Ozblue 4,332
If we were trying to describe what kind of player he is, then to me he is more of a Kenny Miller type than a Kris Boyd type striker.(That is not comparing him to Miller or Boyd btw!) eurospark 1
He should be playing just in front of midfield definitely supplying Davie out wide and little infront and running at thr defence. He showed yesterday how easily he can walk the ball by 2 or 3 defenders.

Little scored 3 times what Sandaza has this season in one game. The big chap will come good for us, but only if we put him in a more creative role. He has the footwork and balance the go past players but lacks shot accuracy. Strikers need to score goals!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Supplier YES, finisher not yet... From our box to theirs all by himself. In a word CREATIVE. I am proud of Sandza's performance yesterday. He should be too. But lets be honest he will be pissed off he didn't score a few. In his boots I would.
