The Dude 20,027
Anyone know what happened with this? I've noticed the club never officially refers to it as Murray Park anymore but have never seen anything released which renamed it.

The Dude 20,027
Just noticed this on the official sitehttp://www.rangers.co.uk/club/murray-park
govanblue 16,847
We can't change the name - it's our TRADITION! When I was talking to the Rangers Hospitality team about collecting Darren Cole's Shirt - the guy said - "yeah it's at Murray Park"and I said "You mean at Auchenhowie"And he said "Yeah at Auchenhowie"a small victory, but sweet nonetheless. AlBear. 8,499
I'd say we have had one or two more important issues to address in the time since that was offered up to debate. I wouldn't mind it being changed but I don't think we should be actively looking to erase SDM from our history. He was partly responsible for all of the great memories in my lifetime, along with being partly responsible for one of the worst.First and foremost I'd want us to ensure Auchenowie/Murray Park was doing its purpose effectively rather than worrying about what it's called. Wasn't there going to be a poll of ST holders?

Wasn't there going to be a poll of ST holders?I got the ballot form with the first ST renewal letter but due to funds I didn't renew til the second letter so didn't send it off.I don't think CG will bring it up, as I don't think its that important. But if someone did want it addressed I'd say simply ask the club what's happening with it. If you don't ask you don't get.
Thermopylae 15,288
Murray invited the whyte wolf through the door and gave him the keys to the kingdom so there's no way he can continue to be honoured by having the training ground named after him

I want to know all the facts first before I make my mind up on this.
Thermopylae 15,288
TBH I could almost forgive murray if lloyds left him with no choice if he wasn't now coming out with all this I though whyte was a good guy BS ... talk about adding insult to grievous injury
Jamie0202 12,960
Fair enough. Im still unsure and will reserve judgement.
Thermopylae 15,288
I'm the opposite he has to prove his innocence especially when he insists on insulting our intelligence by saying he didn't know that whyte was a scumbag
Peasie 103
When the referee appointments are made for the reserve games, the matches are listed as being played at "Murray Park".
KaiserJon 12,715
Despite myself and others now changing our opinion, given some facts, which we did not ask for when it was all going well, Murray was at the helm during a very successful period, that cannot be denied. His last 4/5 years were disastrous for us and as someone mentioned he may have been forced to sell, this does not excuse the person he chose to sell to-the guy was 'vetted' by the SPL, fuck knows what they checked his driving licence is probably fake.
