CanadianBacon 2,088
There's two sides to this coin. Were I at a concert and the artist started up YNWA (or anything by that huge-nosed-bastard Rod Stewart) I'd be on my toes faster than you could say, "Go on...have a slice of chicken supper Bobby!"PS. Pity that show last night didn't start with 'Penny Arcade'....the Tarriers would have been home in time for Coronation Street.
devref 201
For Ike & Tina Turner it’s got to be River Deep-Mountain High.dont see them being to happy about the mention of a river. that could lead to them getting water on them
CanadianBacon 2,088
dont see them being to happy about the mention of a river. that could lead to them getting water on them ....also, the mere mention of the word "deep" has them in a panic as it reminds them of the phrase "baw deep", which is Father O'Fondle's favourite position. Yeah, I had the same thought when I read the OP - at the time John Peel died I was working as a bouncer in one of Sauchiehall St's more lively venues. At the end of the night the DJ thought it would be a fitting finale to play "YNWA" as it was apparently one of John's favourite songs.Think it got to the second line before I got to the sound desk & killed the master volume. Purely in the interests of public safety of course.

Blumhoilann 6,715
If memory serves me right a few years ago aul' Rhod Stewart came on stage in Belfast, wearing a Septic shirt and started shouting Septic rants to the audience, loads walked out and Rhadio Ulster's phones were jammed packed with complaints the next day.Stewart apologised for his misjudgement, dickhead.
