Fed Up 211
For well over a year now the rogues who dictate what happens in Scottish football have bullied and threatened anyone who fails to support their wishes. Few if any have had the courage or finances to fight them. They have tried to emasculate Rangers by making us associate members and denying is a vote or even a voice in what they have plotted. Throughout this time they have regularly reminded everyone how important sporting integrity is. What about legal integrity and fair mindedness? I am no lawyer but it seems quite likely to me that they have during this period broken the law at least three times. They have do.ed out punishments before any trial or establishment of guilt. They have overturned a decision made by a court of the United Kingdom. Now I suggest they are in continued breach of the laws of anti-competition!?I am no lawyer but - even a review by a layman surely says they cannot pursue the new league set up with no clarity as to what happens and when to a club who suffers insolvency, with the removal of promotion for clubs who win leagues and with no voice for a club who has taken thousands of supporters all round the country (at great expense) seeking a Championship and promotion. Take a look at www.out-law.com/Page-5811As far as our entry to the 3rd division goes, our company is new, our club Is ancient. It's the company not the club that is governed by competition law. For penalties and breaches of sfa rules if we take it to court our registration could be revoked because FIFA tand UEFA take a hard line on clubs using their national courts to overturn football decisions. We're better to just climb the division, debt free, and get on with being the number one club in Scotland once again. st1965 14
Uefa take a hard line..surely if one of their members is breaking laws this would have to be investigated!!
Blue72 1,237
Uefa take a hard line..surely if one of their members is breaking laws this would have to be investigated!!A league has a right to restructure whether it's right or not. Competition laws affect trading between one eu state and another, as well as monopolies and ensure a corporations right to move into new markets in other areas of Europe. We're still being permitted to trade and run the business, whether that is 3rd div or spl, I doubt a court would argue that restructuring prevents us from trading and providing a service. djbroxybear 660
If the Conference would have us time to go start at the bottom and work our way up, Scottish Football is Fucked , Fuck The SFA and SPL let them get on with it.
Fed Up 211
On the website they refer to Cartels - surely they have formed a cartel to keep us down? It also talks about "abuse of dominant market position" which is being done by denying us the ability to move onwards and upwards till we can put them back where they belong! They are surely denying us our right to compete, win and move on to the next level?
