KingKirk 26,549
Before we can challenge the tims at the top of Scottish football. Out of the current squad I can only see Wallace, wee Lewis, Temps, Barrie and Aird been part of the squad. That just shows how much shite we have throughout the squad. We signed players this summer on a needs must basis. Not because they deserve to play for us.Charles has done alot of talking in the last year. However we will soon find out how deep his pockets are and how serious he is about investing in the squad. Will Rangers be a force again? Am afraid the decision lies in the hands of Charles Green. Thermopylae 15,288
Losing to 2 spl sides 3-0 showed that ... I think today made clear how little progress has been made because we actually made Annan look good
BlueSuedeSambas 56,606
We are three years away from challenging celtic and that's a best case sceanerio. We don't need any heavy investment until then.At this moment in time Inverness Caley Thistle, Motherwell & Ross County are challenging for the second and third spots in the SPL and it's probably safe to say that their teams/squads have had next to no investment. When it comes down challenging celtic, then yes, we will need investment. Until then it's up to the club to improve their youth policy & their scouting department so we don't need to rely so heavily on investments from the owner for top drawer players like we did in the past. trublusince1982 768
we are worse now than we were at the start of the season.
will2203 842
I am afraid I have to agree. Whilst we have learned how to win away, we have stopped humping teams (in the 2nd half) at home. We have come down to their level and will find it very difficult to lift our performance going forward.
