Carsons Dog 9,878
Off the field we are in a good place at the moment. On the field we are a shambles, the entertainment value is nil an part timers are showing us up.What we need to do now is remember the words of Bill Struth and to react to the situation with dignityCharles Green and Ally need to lock themselves in an office and sort this shit out for the good of the club.Ally is in danger of losing his legend status and no one would criticise or blame him if he chose to take a job 'upstairs'It's times like this that write the history of our club and we must be seen to act with dignity when under pressure.Washing our dirty linen in public only helps our enemiesIn a minute we are going to be asked to renew season tickets and this will be a big ask with the product on the field at the moment.Sort it out Ally and Charles - do what's best for the club

Whether he works out as Rangers manager or not he is one of, if not our greatest Rangers legend.

Band of Brothers 10,303
What's your answer to the dross we watch week in week out? Who would be your choice? Ally will never lose his legendary status as a player but has never been a legend as a manager so what status would he lose? I feel I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place so imagine how ally must feel the now as he knows more than any of us what it's like to be a true Rangers man he will know himself it's not acceptable but he will never not be a legend. Smile 26,624
Great players do not always make great coaches is it early on McCoist for him to be judged who knows only the supporters can decide that and not all will agree. One thing we will all agree about is Ally will always be a legend. Carsons Dog 9,878
I'm old enough to remember the public slagging of John Greig, in fact I'm sorry to admit I even participated in it.I don't want to see the same thing happen to Ally and I fear that even though we are 17 points clear we may not be far from that situation. We need to display dignity on and off the park and do what's right for the club
trublusince1982 768
He for me is already the greatest ever rangers legend and winning the league for us this year will be remembered in our history as one of his greatest feats for us,when he moves out of the managers role however that comes about I am sure the next day he will still get up and head to Ibrox to continue succeeding in whatever role we will be lucky enough to have him in

Band of Brothers 10,303
So who or what would be your answer to this? He is a manager who can't even sign anyone and the players he did were on a snap judgement so yeah I get your point but na I don't wanna agree as I want to see Ally be the best ever. gmcf 35,487
Might not be the best manager but hell never be in danger of losing his Legend status.
Alex_77 73
I think Ally has more than earned the right to finish the season and lead the team to the title. I would hope that he does the honourable thing after this.

We all want Ally to be the greatest but deep in our hearts we know it ain't happening at the moment but what we have to watch is shocking at the least from our team. I fear sad times ahead for Ally but never want him to feel hurt as he gave so much for us when few did.
brazz1972 397
I think it's fair to say everyone is yet to be convinced of Ally as a manager. I think after all he's been through and where we are under him just now he deserves at least one more season to prove himself. He obviously knows the fans are unhappy and he'll need to buck up his ideas and get the fans off his back. Lets see this season out. Enjoy winning the league and look forward to a fresh start next season whichever league we may be playing in. If next season isn't going well then fair enough. Have a go at him and look for change but for now let's stick with him and give the man our backing and hope that he can turn it around and give us the performances and style of play we're after. That's the least Ally McCoist deserves.

It's going to be the same teams we are playing next year. Give ally money and he's going to go for shite like jon daily. Why give him another year IT IS NOT GOING TO GET ANY BETTER. Infact if we give ally money and he does go for shite like jon daily then it could get worse.

The younger fans are tolerating what the older fans cannot.Older guys are saying this is shocking and Ally isn't the right man for the job aswell. And i'm talking about people who have watched Rangers in the days when Willie waddle played for Rangers right up until now. Can't see why people would think it's just "younger fans"
