Mourneview Bear! 63
How about Dwight Tiendalli of Swansea City?He looks to be leaving Swansea in the summer, he'd be a good choice to improve our defence and, unlike what we have now, he can actually play across all defensive positions. MasterD 7,435
Away you go. He was wanting out long before that.He could have asked to leave 6 months or a year earlier when other clubs were interested but never did. Obviously once that Qatar mob came in for him he wasn't going to stay but if we offered him a decent contract before that I think he would have. DelightfulDennis 123
I doubt Amo did. You're going back a long way. At that time we could pay the same wages as the big clubs down south. DelightfulDennis 123
Yet he had his constant disappearing acts on international duty?He had a difficult balancing act at the time. He had the pressure of his country trying to qualify for their first world cup in many years. When he played he always gave nothing but 100%. elephants stoned 2,994
Maybe worth a look?Robbie Neilson - CB/RB - 33 yrsA decent player in his day and might just be able to stabilise our CB position for the 2nd division, before we can actually spend some money on an experience younger player. Leaves Falkirk in May.Mido - ST - 30 yrs Played for a host of big clubs including Ajax, Celta Vigo, Marseille, Roma, Spurs. Free now.Dont know much about Neilson but at 33 he sounds like another Daly type signing, Mido is gash, i remember when he was at Boro he couldnt hit a barn door him and Alves ended up getting Southgate the sack it was said. We can do much better even in SFL2.
