scarkev 3,540
It's just getting ridiculous now! They are always banging on about building bridges, moving on and getting Scottish football back on track! How can that happen when every week they are attacking us or claiming against us! I'm growing so tired of it all!

Bad Robot 21,513
Fuck the SFA, I think the courts will decide.
JM1872 3,819
So the SFA have made their opinion known, but what would the courts say? Also, what exactly do the SFA have to do with this? Isn't it between Rangers and the players? and if so wouldn't we obviously pay the bill?
islandblue 366
Is this a first. What other clubs have had a bill for an SFA tribunal.Im sure the media will want this question answered NOT

GWR1979 2,038
Do the SFA not still owe us money for Davis and Fleck?Has there been an outcome to the dispute with these other players?Get the feeling that the pressure is being ramped up so they can make a grab at the tv rights again. Alnic3856 358
Surely we are only Liable for costs in the event of a dispute if we lost the case?If we lost the cases then why did we recieve fee's for the likes of Davis?More to it than meets the eye, still can't see how they can bill the club for attempting to hold onto it's assets, especially as they made us pay all football debts, kind of smacks of double standards here, you will pay all your oldco'd football debts but all your players can fuck off if they want and we will bill you for that aswell??Fucking mental. ritchieshearercaldow 22,393
wonder who was on this panel? How do they come to the conclusion that we should pay a bill because players wanted to leave.Have the players asked for Rangers to pay this money or have the SFA panel just thought it up? BertContraband 283
The club should release a statement. Get our top legal minds on this

Londonderry_Bear 111
They say we should pay their legal costs seemingly before a decision has been reached as to whether the players did breach contract or not?Seems the story has been changed quite quickly too, to say the SFA had no input
Bluepeter9 5,167
The club should release Thier final statement on these matters that just says 'see ya in court'

Reformation Bear 6,453
So, the SPL looking for legal fees and now the SFA doing the same. More of an open anti-Rangers agenda. Shameless really, as well as pathetic. Two so-called football authorities disgracefully grubbing about with a bowl demanding money. Another short statement dismissing the claim might be the response from Rangers. On the other hand it provides a handy platform for Rangers (and Charles) to have a real go at the SFA. It's credibility in managing football in Scotland is wretched and arguably at a level of compentence well, well below what should be expected from a national football governing body. At some point in time I reckon Charles and the Rangers Board will say enough is enough and start to set out far more directly the Rangers view of the way football affairs in Scotland in the last year or so have been managed, and maybe even start to demand changes of personnell at the very top of the SFA if credibility in that organisation is to start to be restored. And if the SFA has continued to withhold money due to Rangers, then maybe simply issuing a writ for payment should be issued.
