RST Board Statement

The board of the Rangers Supporters' Trust today calls for the future of Chief Executive Charles Green to be decided by the Board of the club and for Charles Green and Imran Ahmad to pursue legal action against Craig Whyte.

Our club needs clarity over two major issues - the future of Charles Green and the ongoing claims of Craig Whyte. The proper places for these two to be handled are, respectively, the Ibrox boardroom and a court of law.

The Board of the club has enjoyed the backing of the overwhelming majority of the Rangers Family and to date no valid concern about its operation or composition has been aired. Therefore, it has the competency and authority to deal with the matters surrounding Mr Green’s recent performance without interference from the media or external bodies. With regard to Mr Whyte’s claims, the Board can question the directors and employees concerned in a confidential manner which should provide additional clarity.

Craig Whyte will never be an acceptable owner or investor in Rangers - his allegations appear so outrageous and injurious to the club that only a court appearance will force him to provide conclusive evidence of his claims. As he is alleging collusion between himself, Mr Green and Mr Ahmad we believe that the situation now requires judicial examination and recommend that Mr Green and Mr Ahmad instigate legal proceedings against Craig Whyte without delay.

Oh FFS!

What are these morons trying to do!

Get clarity, once and for all from CG et al regarding the scurrilous CW rumours.

CG and by association, Rangers, is being tainted and tarred on a daily basis by the constant referral to CW and his ongoing allegations of collusion with him, CG & Imran, the only way they will be halted is to disprove (or prove) in a court of law.

We need the constant flow of bad press to halt, that will only happen when taken into a public forum where guilt or innocence can be judged

Good statement putting pressure on the right people and highlighting the right issues.

Sad to see the RST/FF jealously out in force, those bad boys at the trust hogging the limelight again...

Have they issed certificates to their "Shareholders" yet?

Who get's the AGM invite?

Has this statement been ran past and voted on as ok to be released by the majority of those "Shareholders"

Just asking since their calling for clarity, they won't have anything against ebing totally transparent either.

The same trust that have been kissing Greens arse, and even made him a member. Easy answer is to remove his membership, which will never happen.

They are not judge and jury, as they have clearly said the place to discuss this is in the Rangers boardroom.

Nobody should assume guilt before an investigation has finished....

OH FFS - See the RST sticking their beak in where NONE is required.

As to the points raised.

Listen carefully.

The D&P reports lodges at the Court of Session are the true & correct record of what happened ref the sale of assets from Oldco to Sevco Scotland Ltd.

Companies House details ownership, shareholders, investors in both Sevco 5088 & Sevco Scotland Ltd. Whyte is not detailed anywhere.

Perhaps if instead of coming up with self important bs like their statement, the RST might like to spend 10 minutes actually doing some feckin research instead of trying to tell the Board of the club how to do their feckin job.
