Another Bear Down

Nemesis

Recommended Posts

Got sad news this morning that a top bloke and big Rangers man, Frank Dixon, passed away last night.

Quality big guy who always had a good word to say and loved the Gers.

When i was younger he seen me and a mate standing bored and shouted us over. Gave us free tickets and travel down to see us play Sherbourne at Prenton Park. Even bought us the carry out. All he asked in return was we brought some battle tunes for the car.

That's just the kinda guy he was.

Lived in Easterhouse for many years and was latterly involved with The Circle in Baillieston.

Sleep tight big man. The world is a poorer place today.

It's not all bad, most bears we lose have usually left a legacy of more bears, who in turn, create more bears.

Personally don't know this man, but my sincere thoughts are with his family at what must be a difficult time.

RIP and I'm glad you got to see us lift a trophy we had never had and never will win again.
