Senna 735
RANGERS Football Club notes today's verdict by the Disciplinary Tribunal who ruled that Hearts cannot register any players over the age of 21 between now and February 1, 2014.We also recall that Dunfermline were given a similar sanction in May.But in particular, Rangers are aware of the glaring differences in the sanctions imposed on three clubs who entered administration. Our club, Rangers, was hit with a £50,000 fine and given a 12 month registration embargo. While no-one at this Club wishes to see others fall on hard times, questions must be asked about these anomalies and we fully understand the rising anger among our fans. They are entitled to think there is one rule for our club and another for everyone else.We will be seeking clarification for our fans.http://rangers.co.uk/news/headlines/item/4650-craig-mather-statement
Senna 735
Bit tame, but at least it's an acknowledgement. Now would be the time for a Traynor column but there's a snowball's chance of that.

mabawsa 888
You dont go steaming in and play your hand at the first go.....this is a quick statement out there to let them know we know what is going on.....this ain't over. You pick the battles you can win and don't pre-warn the enemy of your next move. They must read RM as you can sense the growing anger .. Essandoh 21,201
See, Rangers cannot fucking win, Mather included. They release a statement pretty quickly following what happened today, and still people are going to have a go for it not being worded strongly enough. What do you expect them to publish? Do you honestly think they're gonna finish the statement with 'No Surrender and fuck you Regan'?This is a good statement. The Club is actively listening to the fans and acting FOR the fans. cameron1873 510
Think this is a great statement.I think it comes across firm but fair. And as others have said it lets the others know that we are not happy without showing our full hand.Well done rangers

Nemesis 277
It's a decent statement.Using the 'seek clarification' line which could be a veiled threat that we might take this further. If we feel hard done by we can appeal to CAS in retrospect for the finances to be returned. Not just the 50k but the transfer fees etc that were witheld. eastcoastbear 122
Good statement. We have to make sure the club does seek clarification though. This should not be allowed to be forgotten.

Wafflesniffer 399
Good to see a quick statement being published. Hopefully clarification is sought, and then questioned, when Regan & his cronies no doubt respond with utter bullshit.

The Educator 1,572
Glad to see the statement. The wording is fine by me as it puts the ball in their court, as in how do you justify what you have done without showing yourselves up as a bunch of corrupt bigots.
