Redwhiteandblue 3,330
Worst striker to wear our shirt since James Beattie.
kanjo 26,490
Coisty's 451 does not suit many strikers, it's why he opted for the tried and tested kenny miller.
SE5 107
The height of ignorance is blaming a striker for being poor when he has had no service whatsoever. Give him two proper wingers to feed him with Clark working alongside him and you will see a different player. I guess it's easy to make him a scapegoat for something outwith his control when everyone knows his background. Has he ever not gave 100% effort? The answer is no so what else do people want? Him to morph into a Messi or Drogba clone? He is what he is. A striker who is as good as the service he gets which right now is not much. Paulie Walnuts 1,061
Daly is only there so McCulloch has somebody to aim the ball at when he lumps it up the pitch
pcbear 10,932
John Daly is a good clever footballer, like any striker having the ball now and then is quite a help, there were half a dozen worse than him today.

Tumshie 205
Big Daly has done well since he's came to the club. The level of abuse he's received on here has been ridiculous.

HeHaw 513
What does this say about our manager's tactics today, putting a lone striker up against Andrews and Dodds, both of whose ariel ability was well known to him?He was more than likely expecting the midfield to contribute more. trueblue68 2,497
Some of his headers leave me bemused. He seems to be a tad late reading the game a lot of the time and goalscoring opportunities are wasted via this.
WilliamFyfe 1,438
Daly isn't a lone striker. Stupid tactic. Same with a Smith on the wing.

geronimoo 1,570
To be fair on the big guy he isn't a lone striker and we all know it so it baffles me to see why Ally can't see it, if he played Clarke beside him we would be banging the goals in. FernandoR20 2,133
Why pick out Daly when the whole team was bad? Going by the OP's history, he's always hated him because he's irish, so that's probably why.
JCS 649
To be fair, he had very little service and was well 'marshalled' by the Forfar centre backs. I must admit that he is not my favourite player, and I was one of those who did not want him at Ibrox, because of the considerable doubts I have about his ability - the same doubts I had when he was at Dundee Hibs.I do hope that he succeeds, although I don't see that happening. I agree with those who think that Nicky Clarke should be our first preference.
