Not Enjoying Supporting Rangers

It's been a range of emotions, I'm not going to try to list them but now it's despair. I've not been able to stand reading the thread about boardroom matters, I'm completely lost with that, are things likely to come to a head at the AGM? What is our identity as far as ownership and such? I can't tell.

On the park, I've been excited during the first few games, I'm kind of worried again but this may be something that passes once the new signings have all found their place and McCoist has worked out how to fit the pieces together in a way that works. And that's if he does.

I think it's fair to say that, if both on and off field situations are not going well, it's a bit shit being a bear. That said, it may just take one or two significant events to change my or anyone else's outlook

That thread title is a joke!

As much as I'm depressed and demoralised by the actions of those currently battling for control of my club, nothing can make me stop enjoying supporting Rangers. That's my club. Not theirs and nothing they do will affect that.

There is to many so called fans with an agenda, and only care what is in it for themselves. The sad thing is that our love for our club was all that mattered, and all we looked forward to, was going to the game and giving support to our team. We now are only a shadow of a club that i have grown up with.

They fear i have got is, with all the fighting between our fans, that they might end up help destroying our club, and that we will never get back to the club, that we once were.

Al, the thread title isn't some panicky knee jerk. I'm fucking sick of all the politics and uncertainty. Not enjoying this at all.

Hopefully a solid performance tomorrow though, tomorrow I will turn my attention to football as always!

The only thing I'm not enjoying is not being able to go to the match the morra because of work. :anguish:

Bad thread title mate. Despite everything it's not shit being a Bear, but I get your anguish at the continued boardroom events.

I will be shot down for this but IMO the only way to make any change at our club will be to hit the administration button again and start from scratch. The share issue has been and gone, theres no real revenue streams left so we are operating on fan expenditure putting money in. A new board cant change that.

It needs a new share issue with investment put in that can turn profit, by that i mean we need to farm youth to sell or severely cut expenditure to staff costings, to do that we need more money and suitable staff/investment. We have took money off anyone willing to give it regardless of agenda. We need to take money only where it improves our standing or prospects.

Sounds like you mean liquidation, rather than administration. Fuck that shit. Total overreaction. If you didn't have so many posts it would be.....

It's brilliant being a bear, going to games with your mates.

Boring bastards on the interweb spouting about the board or their particular fan tribe is boring and to be ignored if possible.

Don't get me wrong, I'm in awe of going to Ibrox every single time. I'm in Govan rear for the Dunfermline match on Oct 12th which will be a bit of a change :)

Shit, I'm enjoying thinking about it. This contradicts my thread title

Exactly the way I feel to Minst.

The Earls don't need to do a thing, our own fans are destroying the Club with hype, lies and Agendas .

I too fear our Club will never be the same.

It's driving people away Inc myself.

It's heartbreaking.

"Never fear, inevitably we shall have our years of failure, and when they arrive, we must reveal tolerance and sanity. No matter the days of anxiety that come our way, we shall emerge stronger because of the trials to be overcome. That has been the philosophy of the Rangers since the days of the gallant pioneers."

It may be tough at times but these words will always ring true.
