Madina 4,275
I've been going to games on a regular basis since 2001, and I can honestly say that last season and this has been the most enjoyable (despite the off field turmoil and never ending soap opera). It was awesome when we were winning trophies and 3 in a row was obviously great, but it all was a bit "sterile". Facing the same SPL teams season upon season was a case of familiarity breeds contempt, and the atmosphere at games by the majority of the fans was just of people going through the motions. I think in the long run we can look back at the whole sorry mess of administration/liquidation and realise that out of that very black cloud there was a silver lining and that was, the players and fans were united in an "us v them" mentality. I certainly didn't think that at the time, but it may be one of the best things that ever happened to the club in the long run, and when we get back to the SPL/whatever its called the journey there will make it all the more sweeter. Sometimes in life you have to (almost) lose a thing before you realise what it meant to you and that's been the case with me. Rangers, I love you! somerset bear 34 86
On a personal level the best thing about the last year is the fact that I know longer watch Celtic games. I used to watch every live game they had because they had an affect on our progress.i can remember their defeat to ICT In our three in a row season. Their four nil defeat to st mirren lol. However I I can count the amount of times I have watched them on one hand now. I feel cleanseed from the experience. Im so much more relaxed and have even given up the smokes. Impossible during septic games

Watching the scores on "ceefax" was enough for me I'd only watch the SPL highlights show all the way through if the tims dropped points. I don't even miss "Old Firm" games tbh
Turnberry18 3,204
The finest hour for Rangers is now. Not interested in the Board, but you find more about yourself at the low points than you do when things go well. The past year has said a lot about the character of people like Ally and his backroom staff, the players etc.
somerset bear 34 86
Better man than me then. I had to watch because the championship was so close. I can even remember Lee Muir scoring against them in a big Celtic win and the papers headlines saying NightMuir in the headlines the next day. Because rangers and them were separated by an odd goal. Like I said I know longer have listen to their shite songs or look at that dirty toothed half breed again. It's bloody brilliant.

I honestly did not even know they were playing the other night. I found out at 11 pm before I went to sleep. My blood pressure has dropped since I had to watch or worry about that bunch of illegal immigrants

TravelingWilBEARy 4,319
Last year and this year is a wee bit boring. As it would have been in the SPL, need those Oldfirm or European games back to inject some excitement.
