We're not doing too bad against them then!

We were excellent yesterday and thoroughly deserved our victory. Doesn't say much for United that they can be so thoroughly beaten on their own patch - they were incredibly average and had we scored one or two more there could have been no complaints.

Don't post much on here but I like to have a nice read every so often. May as well break my posting duck in this thread!

I haven't seen the highlights yet and don't think i will be able to for couple days as i player doesn't show match of the day?? Well done to WBA - when utd equalised you were just waiting for them to go ahead but the better team won by the sounds of it

West brom streets ahead, united a shambles at the back and their frontmen in the albion back pocket

I really like steve Clarke, cracking number 2,and proving to be a cracking boss

His handling of the Anelka situation was very telling on his abilities, and the big club mentality is something he has retained from his time at Chelsea.

agreed, he picked up so much in his time as a head coach and number 2, some talented assistants just cannot make it as a gaffer (carlos queiroz for example) but clarke has really taken to it, he seems to have an excellent relationship with his players and they are definitely punching above their weight

it would be interesting to see their board spend a few bob and give him a proper team, last season they started well but fell away and ended up just stumbling their season out, safe from relegation but out of contention for europe

as much as i laughed last season, lambert for villa seems to have the same relationship with his players, will be interesting to see how he gets on in a few seasons with they young players he is bringing through, the city game shows he has their backing 100%

A lot of baggies fans follow us

Indeed, there's quite a following actually - some make regular visits to Ibrox when we're away from home - there's an Albion flag quite often at Ibrox - think it might have been posted on this forum before.

I'm hoping to make my first visit at some point later on in the season when I've got some money together - make a weekend of it.

Ffs 47 quid is scandalous

Tell me about it mate. Utterly ridiculous to be squashed into a poxy corner of the ground with no atmosphere and be treated like a mug.

The novelty is wearing off for some of our fans and they're not prepared to pay vast sums of money to 9 times out of 10 watch us get beat.

I think the price is about £50 to go to Chelsea - well it was the other season anyhow.

Customers not fans nowadays.

That is an absolute joke.
