OneDavidCooper 2,505
Perhaps its because we are heading in the right direction?Pehaps its because its our manager isn't clueless.Perhaps its because some of our supporters are just clueless. We aren't brilliant every week.We are a shadow of many Rangers teams of the past.We have faults. But we are fucking better than many of the moaning bastards on here say we are.NO apologies. ScottBF2 3,540
Losing to whatever diddy team we lost to in the cup tells me that Ally is a long way off being ready to manage this club. I'll stand by him for now, but when he is asked to stand down ill probably be quite happy with that. A great servant to our club, but not a manager so far. ForeverBlue_Since91 2,895
Are we going to get threads like this every time we pump a team at Ibrox? The people who think Ally is not right for Rangers are not 2 faced they still don't think he's the right man for us and a 8-0 pumping against stenhousemuir isn't going to change their minds.Nothing to do with people not liking him thats just what they think. Nothing up with that. Just because of who he is doesn't mean every one should just back him for the sake of it.
OneDavidCooper 2,505
Are we going to get threads like this every time we pump a team at Ibrox?Yes, until malcontents like you don't start threads every time there is a poor performance. To read this board last week you'd have thought we only play crap. An 8-0 win is proof we don't. Some tight wads say 5-0 is par, This fucking isn't. Deal with it.YOU CAN'T HAVE IT BOTH WAYS.

OneDavidCooper 2,505
The time to gloat is if Ally wins us the SPL title, until then beating teams 8-0 etc doesn't make Ally a great manager. They are impressive results and the football is good, but the real challenge for Ally has yet to come.Who said Ally was a great manager? I'm neither pro Ally or anti Ally as a manager. i just enjoy celebrating wins and dislike seeing bitter and inaccurate outporings on here when we are pissing the league we are in. I don't give a fuck about our SPL aspirations until we are there.

Or that he's useless and providing pitiful football?Because that's what big clubs do?Still More than a fan...

OneDavidCooper 2,505
Fair enough, after every good performance on here we get similar types of threads having a good at other's opinions....... Then the retort is if it's a bad performance we get threads slating Ally, like it makes it acceptable or something! Was similar last season as well when we had some excellent performances with an even poorer squad.IMO there's four group's on here, the % of each is up for debate;1. People who can't see anything past Ally and will have a dig or go at anybody who dares to criticise him;2. People won can't see Ally doing anything correctly and refuse to praise him;3. People who are in support of Ally but can see his mistakes;4. People who have constructive criticism and doubts over his managerial ability.Or 5. People who support Rangers, like to celebrate any win, like to take a long term view and will make a judgement about Ally when they themselves feel a judgement needs to be made, not when we merely fail to beat Forfar by more than one goal. RangersMadrid 7
I´ve written several times on this forum that I disagree with all those who think that Ally is clueless, and I´ve spoken about some interesting decission he made during games. And I said that what I see is that Ally is building for the future, a future that will take us to the top flight but a future that also comes now in the Cup by the way. There, we´ll see the kind of team that we have. What I see is that, on our day, we can beat everyone, doesn´t matter what team you pick up.I still see some flaws in defence but apart from that the midfield we have is top notch. No team in the top flight have a couple of players of the calibre of the likes of Nicky Law and Blackie. Law could play at the Premiership, and I´m not exagerating. If you see the likes of Paulinho, for instance, who cost 15k you can see that Law is much better than him in every part of the game. If Law was, maybe, "Lawinho" and was brazilian he would be in a top 6 team in England, for sure. What I mean is that we can have poor performances against lesser teams because it is impossible to be focused 100% every day, and even more when the guys have to play on astroturf. But the team have quality and the manager is assessing everyone now considering what they´ll face in the future.Enjoy these great results and let the manager and his staff to do his business and I´m sure that we´ll enjoy a good run in the cup. I´m sure
