I don't particularly back the current board today, as I still don't know how the club is going to continue to operate as it is today until ST renewals in 9 months time (but I am no accountant and look forward to some form of forecast from 'the' boss), and some of their conduct in the past month or so is well short of what I expect of the Rangers board.

I don't particularly back the Requisitioners, as their conduct during this recent period does not tell me that they should be on the Rangers board either.

So with that in mind, I have to 'back the board' so to speak, as I don't have a better option available.

Make sense?

I said in one of these multi board threads that I wouldn't be calling to sack the board without evidence and that evidence is not available. We're not cash rich, but we're not deid either. After what we've been through, it's passable and acceptable. Whatever it all means.

So your happy our board are earning more than celtics ?

We sit in the 3rd tier of the worst league in Europe whilst they play in the CL and they are taking that cash

Disgusting

I understand your thinking(I think) however the board are here to do what is right by the shareholders first and foremost. If they do that they will do right by us as a byproduct. They are appointed by the shareholders and their wages are adjusted as the shareholders see fit. As fans we can question all you want, however, this AGM will see any adjustments in remuneration for the Directors as the shareholders see fit. This includes the replacement of any directors.

I do feel though that I want to get the best board we can, so that means they will need to be paid for. I am not saying they are the best we can get, but as yet I dont see anyone being put forward who is better.

And I'm sure Paul Murray will be working for the "good of rangers" and won't be taking a wage at all?

I've no problem with guys getting paid well but that amount right now is a disgrace

We are operating at a loss and they are bleeding us dry with bonuses and ridiculous wages

Stockbridges bonus was allegedly more than his salary FFS

How many shirts, merchandise etc would it take for us to pump into the club just to reach that figure they are taking in bonuses

No director should be getting bonuses for us winning the 3rd division

Or am I the only one gutted about this

Delighted its not as bad as had been reported, still think they could do with being more professional and handling some of the recent issues in a manner befitting those in charge of Rangers Football Club.

I haven't had time to read the accounts in detail, indeed probably not worth it ;) I'd be better reading Boss's posts rather than the accounts. Will do that tonight too busy now.

against.

1. far too much money being milked by the board. 10% of staff wages onlone went to CG! They are the highest earning board in scotland.£400k for a financial director is shocking.

2. £20m is made up numbers from re branding, although this is a normal practice i still find it frightening and nothing more than using made up money to make things look better.

3. Struggle to find one area where we are making progress, the accounts and long term plan still depend on european football, anyone who thinks our revenue streams will increase by nearly £20m without it are kidding themselves on.

4. we have trimmed zero fat, we have continued down the same path we were on nothing has changed, where are the new revenue streams?

Ill stick with the current board at the moment. Simply because im sick of all the back and forth, if the current board was taken out and new board members put in we'd have the same back and forth tit for tat for the next 6 months again probably.

The start of this season was a shambles off the pitch, leaked info, attacking each other through the press, the shirt deals seeming to take forever, the club failing to stand up to those against us - Hopefully this gives the board a chance to get everything settled and get down to business because if we've got to put up with the same nonsense that we did this season at renewal time im sure many will just give up.

I want some consistency and to see some action being taken by the board on many issues so hopefully now accounts are out it will give the board a chance to do what theyre meant to be doing and could have been doing for the past few months were it not for the fiasco thats been going on in the background.

Also, the fans need to be heard, and we need to be reassured, and we need to see some action from the club and not be treated like we dont matter. Thats really all we can ask for, if there's problems we can deal with them, we know there will always be some problems along the way, but leaving us in the dark and telling us about the problems after its too late will cause more in-fighting and trouble than any financial problem would ever cause.

It feels as though the board has buried its head in the sand the past few months its time they started giving the fans, who saved this club, some insight into whats going on behind the scenes, the financial problems were bad enough, but constantly not knowing and hearing misinformation is starting to drive me nuts for one and im sure many feel the same way.

The boards wages are linked to their role withing the club and not simply the fact they're on the board...however being there means they can dictate that. So I can see both sides of the argument but they should be paid less.

I'm at work right now and not had a proper look but from the bits and pieces it seems ok so far. Not that I'm too surprised to be honest.

Our manager and coaching staff need to have a good look at themselves with the money that they have been taking.

Wages can't be changed for a certain period of time after a TUPE a was under the impression? Ally takein a wage cut now, would like to know how much though.
