So we're now onto our 3rd Nominated Adviser (aka NOMAD) in under 12 months? WHY?

First Cenkos who are highly respected. Why change from them at all?

On July 9th it was announced we had changed to Strand Hanson. Why?

Now we've changed to Daniel Stewart. Why?

Leaked emails from MM (while he was still director and Chairman) voicing serious concerns about the change in Nominated Adviser and in particular his concerns about Daniel Stewart being "unsuitable" for Rangers.

Why not just give us your take on it. I am sure it will be more fun to read.

Read Malcolm Murray's take on it instead. I've posted the leaked emails from when he was voicing his concerns about this subject to the rest of the boardroom.

Been on the cards for a while according to CF.

Subject:NOMAD Date: Tue, 18 Jun 2013 11:35:32 +0100 From: Malcolm Murray Brian Stockbridge, Craig Mather, Bryan Smart, Phil Cartmell, Walter Smith, Ian Hart

Gentlemen, I suppose the good news is that there have been no leaks and all is quiet. There is much chatter behind the scenes on a change in adviser. This would be a very serious decision and require a rigorous process involving the Board reviewing a short list of suitable candidates. I hope as a man with 33 years experience of brokers at the highest level my input is required. In my view it would be irresponsible to consider such a move so soon after a successful flotation. I thought the view at recent board meetings was that the timing was not correct. It is also extremely unlikely that any broker of quality would accept us at the current time. At the moment we have a blue chip list of shareholders that many public companies of >£1bn would die for. It also means that we have the currency and constituency to further fund when we need it in 2-3 years... Daniel Stewart is a small outfit with limited institutional presence, only two analysts and by their own admission to me some months ago do not have the scale of presence to take us on. Also the AIM regulator is jumping up and down and will be all over it. Our institutional investors would most definitely not favour a change to a minor broker. I continue to favour a period of stability as we agreed at the last Board meeting. Let's not consign RIFC to the financial wilderness.

Thanks Malcolm Murray

P.S at this stage I will make no comment on previous connections to CG and IA.

To go through 3 advisers within the first 18 months of business is unheard of for a well run Company.

We`ll have next to no chance of future investment if we don`t get our shit sorted & quick. Unless BPH come across with their £50m cheque as assured by Jackanory McMurdo.

To be honest, I dont even know what a nominated advisor is or does.

Our Nominated Adviser (aka NOMAD) is our regulator for the AIM. It's a company which is LSE (London Stock Exchange) approved.

Our first NOMAD - Cenkos, was a highly respected company. For some reason we weren't able to keep them. I'm simply asking why?

Malcolm Murray's previous comments about our latest Nominated Adviser (and 3rd in under 12 months), Daniel Stewart can possibly be seen as concerning.

Again though, the question I'm asking is Why? Why did we change from the respected company Cenkos in July and why have we changed NOMAD again now, less than 3 months later?

Also, why have we now appointed a company which Malcolm Murray was voicing serious concerns about back in June?

Did Malcolm Murray not throw his hat into the ring to remove the current board today. Here we are a few hours later reading leaked emails from Malcolm Murray who wants to be on the board.

Yep that`s exactly what I took from it too...

Let`s not focus on the disaster that is the current Board, it`s crystal clear now that MM is CF.

Is it the NOMAD who has the power to allow locked in shares to be sold inside a lock in period? That would make sense.

Hmmmm You have to wonder who is leaking Malcolm Murrays emails

I thought you doubters said all you wanted was the accounts.

Now you've had that bone, you want another one now.

Are you just going to question every move the board makes ?

Put another way, if a new board with Mini etc on it changed brokers, would you be asking about that ?

Methinks not.

You got the accounts, now jog on and get back to supporting the team. Leave the business to the folk in charge of it.

Right, im still none the wiser.

What does anyone have to gain by swapping advisor?

I see that MM says it would not be a good idea, but is there some innuendo that it has been done for some corrupt reason? Or is it just cheaper?

There could be more than one reason, but it's not very fair to speculate over and above the facts we have available, which are:

A) We know for a fact that Charles Green had a 12 month lock-in period on his shares meaning he couldn't sell them and get out of dodge till December.

B) We know for a fact that as well as the change of NOMAD, it was also announced today that Charles Green no longer has a "notifiable interest" meaning he now officially has less than a 3% shareholding.

Green might have retained some shares or he might have sold up completely and got out of the Rangersitis business.
