Shuggy 1,308
I research newspaper clippings in my spare time and sometimes come across old football match reports. I saw this one today and considering they are our next opponents, perhaps its a wee omen.It is taken from the Glasgow Herald dated August 16th 1933. allgers 735
Played in front of a 8000 crowd Rangers were 6-0 up at halftime, Ayr replied just after the break, Smith then add a further 2 to bring his tally to 6 and Stevenson another to complete his hattrick. Rangers were down to 10 men for most of the game sub's not being authorised until 1966.
