Hope they 2 do well for their current clubs and come back to us better players.

I personally think Scott has what it takes and still undecided with Andy.

Can you keep this thread updated throughout the year Albear?

Scott Gallacher started his 4th game today in Airdrie's 3-1 home win against Brechin. Airdrie went 2-0 up before conceding 7 minutes before half-time, a goal in the 90th minute put a gloss on the result. Scott has a big opportunity playing on loan in the same league as Rangers this season. Hopefully we will see him settle down and, despite playing in a weaker side than Rangers, start producing a few clean sheets as he looks to make a statement before he returns.

Scott Gallacher

(Airdrie United)

Appearances: 4

Clean Sheets: 0

Conceded: 6

Previous game: Airdrie United 3-1 Brechin City (SPFL 1)

Next game: 12/10, Arbroath v Airdrie United (SPFL 1)

Andy Mitchell started his 4th game in Annan's 0-0 draw away in a Scottish Cup Rd. 2 tie against Buckie Thistle. He played at RB in a 4-5-1 formation. As with most 0-0 games it was a rather dour affair. Andy won his side a couple freekicks in the opponents half through the game. After 70 minutes Annan were reduced to 10 men. On the 80th minute Andy had a shot at goal from a freekick that went past the post. It's another 90 minutes for Andy and he'll benefit from that.

Andy Mitchell

(Annan Athletic)

Appearances: 4

Goals: 0

Assists: 0

Substituted: 1

Previous game: Buckie Thistle 0-0 Annan Athletic (Scottish Cup Rd. 2)

Next game: 13/10, Raith Rovers v Annan Athletic (Challenge Cup Semi-Final)

I can add a bit more as far as Mitch' is concerned.

He's settling in very well with all the lads at Annan and really seems to be enjoying himself. The lads down there are very impressed with him whenever he's played, no matter what position he's been asked to play.

Let's hope McCoist sees sense and gives him a new deal and guarantees first team football next season. If he doesn't, this is going to be a lad that comes back to haunt us.
