molesmole 1,400
Who do you think has been the best value for money so far this season from our recent arrivals??For me I would say Mohsni, I dont imagine he is on big wages and obviously no transfer fee. Last season and even at this start of this season we had a defensive fragility in the centre and were really poor at defending set pieces. The big man has been superb since I seen him against Brora, superb in the air, strong and surprisingly decent turn of pace and not afraid to try and drive forward or play a telling ball. Then we have to other side of the coin even with 50% off his wages and his investments I just still dont feel Mccoist is the man to take us further once we hit the SPFL. Still players are out of position, game changing substitutions are rare, and some games have been really flat and lackluster glossed over by a great end to the game when our opponents tire. I see his value as an assistant but not as the main man.Thoughts fellow bears?
mitre_mouldmaster 21,511
Probably Law.When he is on form, the whole team plays a better style of football.
molesmole 1,400
I would agree law has been decent, but was poor against Forfar and didnt really stamp his authority on the game without black there. But he has been superb in other games and providing the creativity I thought we would have got from Templeton and Sheils. Carson's cat 744
They have all arrived as free transfers so, without knowing how much they are receiving as a weekly wage, it is difficult to form a view on value for money. The most effective player, though, is definitely Law.
