The Widow's Son 399
Living away from Scotland, it was hard to keep in touch with Ranges before the advent of videos and the internet. There have been many years that I haven't seen a game in person and probably too many players that played and I never saw and a few classic games that I've only heard about or seen a good few years later.Wonder if any bears ever lost interest. Family, job and other issues can get in the way.
gogzy 31,195
I suffered from depression for a while, I didn't really give a fuck about anything except poker at that time, it was the only thing that got me through the day lol.Went about a year without seeing a game IIRC. AlBear. 8,499
Having been born and raised down South not making a game for over a decade I've often felt disconnected from the club and support. In regards to passion. Personally my passion for Rangers is like a fire, lit by my dad, that burns within me. That can't be extinguished over time or distance. It only gets bigger, brighter and stronger. AlBear. 8,499
Well said Al Personally, I struggle to understand anyone losing passion for our club, due to my experiences. For example, my dad has lived abroad for 18 years now and made 1 game in that time (away to Man U in CL) and I've not met anyone more passionate about anything than my dad is about Rangers. 60 years old, been through a quadruple bypass and you should see him when we concede a throw in. Fucking raging.

TMB 14,167
I've not lost passion for Rangers but I've lost a lot of passion for Scottish football. The game in this country just seems dead now. Two of the four leagues in this country are already decided before a ball has been kicked. Who can get excited about a competition that's already been won before it begins? I can't stand Celtic being on the TV and hope they get fucked whenever they play. Can't stand all the off the field piss or NeilLennon's mug in the papers 24/7. I can't stand the national team either. The national team is full of traitorous cunts like McGregor, Naismith, and Whittaker. Then you have a few Celtic wankers in there. The treatment of Rangers by the SFA was shocking too. There's no more Old Firm games to look forward too and I miss them. I'm actually starting to hate the Scottish game. For me, that game finished 2 each
Blade 38
Never. Rangers is in my DNA. They are in my mind every day and can affect my mood. When I'm not at the games or can't manage to see them on TV, I'm desperate to find out how they got on and how well they played. After my family, Rangers are the next most important thing to me, equal only with friends. Rangers mean that much to me. I love the club and everything about it, including our support. Always have, always will.I can honestly say that not once, in my 46 years, have I ever lost interest, in the club I started supporting at 5 years old.WATP

Guest
I lived in America for 5 years, we used to get up at 5 in the morning and pay a pub £100 a time to open early to show the games, some of the American and Australian supporters clubs contain some of the most loyal Rangers fans there are, its one thing travelling to ibrox or shittodrie or brechin for a 1230 kick off, its another to get up at 3 in the morning to watch a game on telly in a foreign country, theres been times when I thought I cant be arsed going to this game, but ive never lost the passion for the Gers, its in the blood, the passion is always there.
