Just hearing that Walter Smith is a guest on their show tonight. I wonder what he will have to say?

Fuck all is what i would guess. Same old shite Rangers will not move until the board room stuff is over. He will talk about how well the team is doing and talk a bit about Ally McCoist.

He will tell us nothing we already know.

He must be getting paid to go and talk shite to them.

Smith is in danger of souring some peoples opinions of him

He's got a cheek he's saying the people in charge need to sort the turmoil out yet he was in a great position to oversee and act on behalf of the fans behind the scenes

I have a feeling he's angling for his rebel pals

Now running to Bbc Ireland to give them his thoughts is a bit off

Why the fluck is he speaking to the Rangers haters.

Hopefully, we'll get a better idea of why after we've, well I, have heard what he's got to say. I don't know if he'll be on right at the start, but he should be near enough as.

Nothing wrong with hearing postitive things about Rangers in the media. You never know, maybe he wants a square go with Spents

You could well be correct in everything you say, I'd just prefer to hear it for myself, what he has to actually say.

He hasn't run to the bbc. WS gave an interview at a boxing event. Numerous broadcasters and media were there. But as usual some on here can't wait to jump on someone connected to our club.

That's not as bad then

However ill stand by the rest of my post

Just because someone's connected to our club doesn't mean they can't ever be wrong

Just as Smith is entitled to his thoughts, Rangers fans are entitled to their thoughts - on his thoughts

It's a difficult time for the club so everyone's passionate about what they think is the right thing or way to go

Yep, it sounded more like a press conference than the way they tried to front it as an exclusive type of thing. Then again, he didn't say anything much and wasn't that long. Kef Jacobite is now ripping the interview apart. Oh well, back to normal. Shite Britney's on as well. I never listen to that cunt, radio off.

Of course, but come on. On here some people need very little reason, or any facts, to condemn someone.

He gave an interview hours ago. It was on skysports and I posted quotes from stv and teamtalk. bbc use the interview like every other broadcaster and some can't wait to jump on Walter.

All of what you have to say is true, but I can't control myself when that speirs opens his mouth and starts blowing wind. What right has that bam got to say anything about Smith?

First, imo his actions can be deemed reckless but he didn't "run us into the ground".

Second, who did?

Murray run up the debt and then could not wait to get rid of the club. By selling to the snake, and it makes you wonder why him. And yes the snake was the man who would not pay his bills, but fact is Murray ran up debt, then wanted out.

Did he not say he felt the board was running smoothly but the people who wanted change were causing the turmoil? Doesn't seem like something a plant for the McColl and Murray group would say. He also mentions that Mather is doing a good job.

Exactly. Murray was reckless and irresponsible with our club, and the "snake" ran us into the ground.

I don't think he was employed in that capacity and therefore probably didn't know too much about it.

Walter knew about the debt, but the thing is that Walter or the players would have a bad word said against Murray. After all they would not bite the hand of the person who would feed them all.

Walter might not be perfect, but why should he have to answer for the traits/faults of Murray?

Yup just listened there and he did - another case of (this time STV) bulletins and headlines being inaccurate was just about to post this off my own back until I seen your quote (tu)

What good do you think Walter running around saying that Rangers are bust would have helped us?
