LucyBlue 2,287
I am not going to celebrate this. It is a sad day when a club with so much history can die. Will never forgive the most recent custodians for what they did to Rangers, but those custodians do not represent the the entire club, only a snapshot of it.Try googling the first Dunfermline fansite you find.Read the thread on us.Then get back to me.The hatred (for no reason) has been spewing from them....they'd have us dead and buried like most.Fuck em. ForeverBlue_Since91 2,895
They must have shat themselves when we asked for the game to be postponed. They must have been relying on the revenue they would have generated from us.It's all Rangers fault again. This will be there exucse.

Gazzanova 328
I'd be a tad upset if Dunfermline liquidated as it would mean a member of my family would be without a job but the joy of reading their forums while they went down would soften the blow. allgers 735
Since when have Dunfermline been on our rader, who gives a toss what is being spouted on their forums, they have so little support that their is every chance the ones doing the spouting are them. BigChap 15
It would be sort of funny if the final nail in their coffin was because we need to call a game off against them.In a way it's a shame that such an old club is facing the firing squad but then it's hard to feel too sorry for their fans when they put the boot into us so ferociously. ForeverBlue_Since91 2,895
It's awryt because their fantastic fan base will save them and raise enough money to see them through the season.

ayesteady 78
Just caught this on the 6 o'clock news.If it happens it will be interesting to see how the SPFL would act. Here's the bit from STV web site:Dunfermline Athletic is facing a fresh threat of liquidation as former owner Gavin Masterton is seeking an indictment against administrators BDO.The dispute is centred around the lease of the training ground at Pitreavie. The lease was due to be cancelled but Mr Masterton now says he has £500,000 to put towards the purchase. The case is to be heard again on Friday but with no funds available it could force the club into liquidation.
