Who do we need

Need a solid RB one who is going to cement that position, a new CB to partner big Billy by the time we get back to the SPL can't see Jig being in the plans, Two wingers Left and Right would be nice, Don't understand what ally is doing playing 4 central mids, a new striker Clark will come into his own before we reach the SPL, Daly will still do a turn at 33, a young proven goalscorer at that level for instance Billy McKay at Inverness who is only 25 would fit the bill perfectly.

Position vs Position, if we were to face Celtic this is the hypothetical line ups matched up:

Gk Bell - Forster

RB Foster - Lustig

CB McCulloch - Van Dijk

CB Mohsni - Ambrose

LB Wallace - Mulgrew

RM Peralta - Forrest

CM Law - Brown

CM MacLeod - Ledley

LM Templeton - Commons

ST Daly - Samaras

ST Clark - Stokes

Obviously this is just a quick mock up, however looking at that I don't know if there is that much of a gulf in quality.

Wallace, Templeton, Daly, Law, Bell, McCulloch and Foster all have experience playing in the top flight (and bar Law are all cup winners).

Mohsni, MacLeod and Peralta have been impressive for us this season. Clark is still young so I'm hopeful of big things from him in the future.

Celtic have a few skilful players but Im not impressed with their defence, especially that Ambrose, he is a bombscare for them.

Sick of this. You're essentially saying we need 3 or 4 "proven players" and pay them around a tenner a week. Our squad is big enough and versatile enough already, especially for the level we're at. If anything we need to move a couple of boys on.
