SUPPORTERS unite to blast 'degenerate' Celtic fan Greg Baxter for 'inhumane' comments on Twitter.

FOOTBALL fans last night rounded on a moron who mocked former Rangers star Fernando Ricksen’s motor neurone disease battle.

So-called Celtic fan Greg Baxter changed the words to Walking in a Winter Wonderland to taunt the Dutch star on Twitter.

But he was universally condemned by true Hoops supporters, who reminded him the disease claimed the life of Parkhead icon Jimmy Johnstone.

The vile tweet was posted at 12.39am on Saturday – but last night, the account had been closed.

GlasgowBhoy wrote: “I assume any decent Celtic fan following this degenerate inhumane lowlife @GregBaxter3 is unfollowing him immediately. Scumbag.”

Ricksen, 37, announced on TV last week that he had the terminal condition.

Fuck sake.

First off, glad the cunto is outed.

Secondly, the difference in the Daily Record's coverage is palpable. Incident involving Rangers fans:

Described as 'Rangers fans' and quotes from judges, lawyers and Neil Lennon condemning them.

When it's the linked incident in the OP involving a sellic fan it's described as 'so-called Celtic fan' and other sellic fans on Twitter are quoted condemning him.

The difference in tone is consistently apparent and is clearly not accidental. The Record and it's editing team (Kevin Mansi and Alan Rennie - clear which way the DR has been aligned these days) are a disgrace.

Still manage to paint the mhanks as angels.

Fuck the DR and all who sail in her.

Note the headline. Not "Twitter troll mocks Ricksen". No, it's "Fans condemn Twitter troll who mocks Ricksen". They've actually tried to make the story about how morally upstanding Celtic supporters are. Ridiculous.
