a lot are saying about McLeod not starting but his last 4 starts he has been poor , while Peralta hasnt set heather on fire maybe manager feels as hes new to the country he needs more game time

I think Lewis has looked drained recently. He's played quite a lot of games for a young lad

ES. Stuff your squad rotation up your arse. Play your strongest available team. That's how you get a long winnibg run. Ally, the MANAGER, knows that.

Are you saying that if we put a couple of kids on the bench and maybe pur Faure in for Jig we wouldnt win? We are good enough to beat every team in this league with our second strongest line up and even our 3rd strongest would win alot more than not. Whats the point in having a huge squad and wage bill if we will only use a fraction of them?

ES. The reason for the necessity for a strong sqad should be apparent after the carnage midweek. It is called cover in case of injuries. We are likely to see a lot more as teams realise they are not going to play us off the park so will try to kick us off the park.

Two words, squad rotation its needed when you have a huge squad like ours and whats wrong with putting a couple of young lads who are shining for the Swifts on the bench as a reward for their good form? I bet if Ally did it you would be singing from the rooftops what a great decision it is.

It's a juggling act - I for one think they have to earn their place - ie be good enough - it's not a bad philosophy for Ally to have though it won't be supported by all - but then what decision Ally makes gets unified support

Yes but you can play other players without veing forced too by injurys, in fact if we are going to get more games like Wed night then we need to be getting our squad players match fit ready to step in if any more bad injurys happen. Theres no reason not to give squad rotation a go, except maybe fear.

Change is hard and Ally is used to Walters quite ridged way of doing things, very sucessful in the SPL but maybe we need to remember we are not in the SPL anymore, we dont have the bheasts waiting to pounce evey time we drop points we can afford to experement, to try to build a different ethos to give the lads who would never stand a chance of being Rangers players in the caldron of pressure of a SPL title race, a chance to develop and blossom so that once we do get back there we have a group of well developed first team players with 100 games or more under their belts and a chance to prove thmselves at the peak of our game.
