SteveJ 743
Ibrox was made for this kind of event and we should be supporting the decision to make it happen. I would have been gutted if Celtic Park was involved and our stadium was not.

Crespo 1
We should be demanding circa £150m spent on development in the ibrox area! Or someone to cut the grass in the wasteland in front of the main stand at least!

Inigo 32,526
I think it has been, did you notice that the housing scheme opposite the main stand has been demolished and rebuilt?Since I moved to the area we've lost 7 high rises with another one redeveloped into nice rental units. Shortly before Hinshelwood bit the dust. Lots of nice new flats being built in Govan too. Things are improving.

Things are improving. It's the fruits of the council transferring its housing to GHA all those years ago (2003 or so?). It cost a shitload of money, but it was always likely to improve the public housing stock.
