Muirheadbear 1,483
Ra Sellick fans are schizophrenic. On one hand they argue we're dead, no longer Rangers blah blah. But by their very actions, like the interest and scrutiny they give us, they totally contradict themselves. If we are no longer Rangers then why do they continue to direct the same hatred and bigotry that they have always demonstrated (and, eh; ahem - why do we! lol... )Tom English highlighted, in a microcosm, the overall atitude ra Sellick still maintain over us. We know we are the same club but by their very obsessive actions, so do ra Sellick.
WilliamFyfe 1,438
He should be removed from his position either that I want a massive public apology from him, the sfa and Celtic. (Sfa for hiring him)No man should be in charge of Scottish football when he has hatred for Scotland's biggest club.

Davey_RFC 122
As if anything's actually going to happen with Liewell.Rhegan favourited a suggestion on Twitter that our captain Lee McCulloch should be hung and nothing happened to him.Remember this: Corrupt to the core. Carsons Army 4,146
Every so often Journalists like Keevins and English will write a column like this, basically so they can throw it back in your face when you question them on their impartiality. Spiers does not even try to hid it.I have been searching the tinterweb looking for complaints and statements from the "Major" fans groups and I cannot seem to find any.Do the Trust, Association and Assembly only specialise in internal attacks ? If the shoe was on the other foot, Jeanette Findlay's statement would be all over the front pages.

The celtic CEO tells his AGM that Rangers are not the same club, and no comment from them? Maybe they're preparing their statement...
gmcf 34,093
Hugh Dallas lost his job at the SFA for a joke email which we all receive and send on to others every other day. What liewell done in front of an audience is far worse and he must be removed from office. There can be no other outcome. That's a very valid point CS . A precedent has been set . My own view is as a representative of c....c , liewell can say what he likes and if he wants to play to his galleries , it's up to him. It lacks class and reduces him to the level of the other knuckle draggers. I wouldn't expect a Rangers director to act with such a lack of dignity. He is , however , also a representative of the sfa , where you have to appear neutral and fair. This has now been compromised and if he doesn't have the decency to do the ' right ' thing , he should be removed from that position.

Surely they can put together a statement or get interviewed by the BBC, Radio Clyde or the Daily Record, They never have any problem any other time. Teamgers 1,214
English and Jackson (I think) were on radio last night basically saying Rangers were the same club. On the other side of the debate was Spiers. Considering his past views on us I'm very surprised with Tom English's stance.English actually said this before, on STV i think, and quite a while ago too, it was on late one night and Chris Graham was there along with shitty arse spiers, i'm pretty sure that's when Chris got tore into spiers about him calling us cheats. BlueAvenger 10,208
English is a bhigot and I disagree it's a good article. Why did the mhedia not ask Lawwell a follow up question like " if it was a joke, then as an SFA Board member, do you agree with the SFA who recognise that Rangers are still the same club?" We all know where it will lead. To the darkside.
Shuggy 1,308
This. That chocolate bar sig does my head in.Anyway, Jackson and English did say Rangers were the same club so credit where credit is due. They anticipated the next Old Firm match will be "gruesome". Well, it's certainly going to be unique.Spiers dissented (on Sportsound Extra) and said Rangers are a new club but paradoxically said it nevertheless retained the history of the old club. Hmmmm. But Spiers confessed he had followed Rangers home and away 30 years ago and then fell out because of the "bigotry". I doubt Spiers is therefore a neutral judge in these matters. Haven't Regan and Doncaster both been shown as having sent emails in a similar vain on matters Regarding Rangers over the last two years, yet they are still in their jobs, in fact they are probably more secure in their jobs just now than at anytime in the past. Shetland Bear 433
Did it not only hapoen Friday? Gee them a chance to get the complaint togetherI think the SFA are acting quick in order to make Rangers look incompetent on this. I think they know Lawwell has put himself and them in a sticky situation and his position has been compromised by his words. However us Rangers fans can't get complacent and expect this to be resolved by the SFA or take a cynical view that nothing will happen because of the cabal and that's that. As we saw with the Dallas incident, if we push and push action can be taken. A real opportunity has been given to us to start the fight back, we can't waste it. Allanger 625
The scum are so thick. Liewell san plays them like puppets it's laughable. Scum fans could have asked at their agm if the co-op banks troubles could impact on their club going forward. Instead they cream themselves at any wee dig liewell san has at us, totally taking any flak off the directors/board. As I said, thickos

TheMotor 2,208
I'm surprised by how many are surprised by English writing this. There is a perception that he is a particularly vehement Rangers hater. Its not actually true: he is a particularly vehement everything hater. We just happen to be bigger news than anyone else so get caught in his permanently dipped headlights more than others. Try to find a good news story from English about anything in Scottish football. You'll be looking for a long time if you want more than 2 or 3 articles. He is just a moaning, negative cunt.Gibbons is the real Rangers hater on that rag.
