During the probe five years ago several witnesses were questioned by officers in the wake of allegations.Police also interviewed four men in connection with alleged abuse.Once the questioning was over, all four were told by the Crown Prosecution Service there was insufficient evidence and no action would be taken.But high-profile abuse cases such as the Jimmy Savile scandal, and string of arrests that followed, are believed to have inspired the men to come forward again. Now the former apprentices, who were teenagers at the time of the alleged abuse, have resumed their fight.Shocking details of alleged abuse have been passed to legal experts.And the men have given interviews to solicitors who are drawing up plans to take up their cause again.
