Sad news indeed

I think back to watching him play for rangers,

A player ahead of his time in what was then

The hurly-burly world of Scottish football.

Good player that he was I think he would have

Stood out a mile in the more refined modern game.

R.I.P. Ian Redford

Im shocked and saddened by this awful news.

I was looking at his book today along with a few other Rangers books. I have really fond memories of that winner v dundee utd at hampden. I was 10 and the place went mental when he dinked in that wee chip.

RIP Ian. Thoughts and Prayers with his Family.

Horrible news - RIP Ian, thoughts with your family. Any chance of some perspective hitting this forum, waded through a page and a half of infantile shite before this piece of tragic news came to the fore. Maybe I expect too much, but when news like this is out there does it not at least deserve some sort of prominence ahead of the usual mince. The Rangers Family will never forget you, Ian.

Rant over, maybe, but not forgotten
