Bougherra wants to return- money not an issue.

Lubo wasn't known outside his homeland. Agree about Caniggia, but my point is if you don't take the occasional chance you will never know.

Those examples are relevant but those talented kind of players went to both clubs when they were in the top divison and in Europe.

We at the minute will struggle big time to attract such players. Most over 30's we get now will not be in the mold of those guys

To me the telling point in the interview is that he said he was glad Rangers got some money for him: unlike some others I could, but won't mention. Would have him back in a flash if the money terms were not stupid. How about a low basic with appearance/win bonuses to make it up to a reasonable amount?

I'd be happy to have Bougherra back, but I get the feeling he'd come back and it would be great for a fe wmonths then he'd want to piss off again. He just never seemed like he wanted to be here.

I don't necessarily think he's saying he wants to come back ASAP more that he'd love a return before how hangs them up, sounds a bit like he's playing to the galleries, its alright saying money is no option but I bet his next deal will be the most financially rewarding one of his career, it'd be almost impossible to turn that down at 31 years of age.

I agree. I think even Celtic would struggle to attract guys like Caniggia and Lubo these days. Would have Bougherra back in a heartbeat though.

Is he still injury prone? Saying that he didn't miss too many games in his last season (take away the 4 games in the summer of 2011).

Remember him having quite dodgy hamstrings.

Aye good point, has anybody watched any of his games since he left? Would be interesting to see how he's got on

One thing i'm thinking about here is why would he play for free? He's either went down hill since he left and he's struggling for a club?

No one plays for Free.

Must have missed that bit where does he say that. I read that money would not be an issue.
