Realistically, when can we win this league?

mathematically, the earliest we can win it is v Airdrie, Sat 8th March.

for that to happen, we would need to win our next 7, and Dunfermline would need to lose their next 6 - which is unlikely.

You've miscounted,bud.

If that happened we would be on 79 pts and they would still be on 41(I agree this scenario won't arise)with 9 games left(27 pts).

you're right.

I had counted the league as 38 games - I always make that mistake.

Ok, quick recount puts it after game 26 then - 1st march v East Fife.

I'll go check that though.

Edit: yeah 1st March - and a draw would be enough.

As an aside, after 20 games last season, QOTS were on 53 points, 5 behind us. They then went on to draw 3 and lose 1.

So touch wood, we should beat their quite impressive haul of 92 points.

I gave them credit for doing so well in this Division last year, so I'll give us credit too if we exceed that (tu)

We'll beat it easily,I'm sure. I'm expecting over 100 points (or this place will be totally unbearable!)

I was also confident, till recently, that we would hit an average of 4 goals a game. We were on target till the Stranraer game but,no reason we can't get back on track.........starting in 45 mins?!
